Hallo,

How can I reverse the recent visual update without going back to an older version of Firefox? I'll go back if I have to, but if it's not necessary, that would be nice.

The current version is styled with oval/circular shapes. I would like to keep the box-like shapes from before this update.

Hi how can I change my browser back to how it was before the update this morning? A page came up which said something about an update but I accidentally clicked off it and I'm not sure if I picked an option to change the buttons but now they're all circular and and it's hard to see what I'm selecting because of the colors and it's hard to read the names of the tabs now they're very short only the first word or part of it. How can I change it back please?

Thank you for your time,

Linda

Hello everyone.

Firefox updated today. I don't know—maybe some people like the new design of the tabs, the buttons in the drop-down menus, and the gradient borders around the active tab and the tab bar itself. But I’d like to revert to the old interface. How can I do that?

Thanks!

Hi,

Firefox was just upgraded to version 157 and there is now a large amount of wasted space above my tabs using the "Tree Style Tabs" plugin. Is there a way to get rid of this? (see attached image)

Also, is there a way to get rid of the rounded corners on the top left of the page because that just seems out of place... why is it there? the bottom and right of the page are not rounded. (again see attached image)

Also, now vertical tabs are a thing, is there finally a built in way to turn off the horizontal tabs, but without turning on the vertical tabs? I much prefer the tree structure of TreeStyleTabs (unless I have missed a tree in vertical tabs) but this leaves the horizontal tab bar which is again just wasted space.

Firefox 157: Nova interface, how do I revert back to the previous gui?

Regarding FF v157:

- Mozilla have changed the Graphical user interface of Firefox without asking for consent or providing a clear way to revert back to the old interface, yet again. - They have made changes to the settings, so pre-installed search engines can only be toggled off and NOT removed... - There are a bunch of themes now pre-installed that can't be removed.

I think pushing a change without over way to revert, is why I a lot of people don't donate to the Mozilla foundation

Today, October 1st, Firefox was updated on my computer, and I really don’t like the new design. The upper part of the browser is now much brighter and draws too much attention. The tabs also have a more rounded shape. I personally preferred the previous design, where the tabs were rectangular with slightly rounded corners - it looked cleaner and matched the rest of the browser better. I also don’t understand why the active tab is now highlighted so strongly. Previously, the active tab was simply a little lighter than the inactive ones, which felt much more subtle and comfortable. Is there a way to restore the previous design completely - with the gray upper browser area, the previous tab shape, and a less prominent active-tab highlight?

Thanks!
