There has been mixed success in reproducing this. In that we have not yet had anyone try the STR and prove it works say on ESR or Fx27. I am hoping someone may then be able to run the mozregression utility. This could be a genuine problem rather than just general noise there are bugs already filed but not confirmed e.g.
- Step one: Sign onto facebook with firefox.
- Step two: Begin typing in either the status box, or a comment box on someone elses' status.
(it has to be long enough of a status to trigger at least 3 of the drop-down boxes that provide tagging suggestions.)
Keep typing as though you're not trying to tag, (meaning don't click any of the suggestions in the drop down box.)- Step three: watch firefox freeze.
