  1. Welcome to SUMO l10n! We are a global community of do-gooders, using our language skills to make it easy for everyone on the web to find help about Mozilla's software and projects.

Since you have just joined, there are a few things for you to do:

    1. Find your locale thread and introduce yourself. Tell us what brought you to SUMO, why you want to localize with us and what you like about translations (and Mozilla). If you don't see your language in that list, please send me a Private Message, or post about it in this forum, and we will see how we can include your language in SUMO.
    2. Read the introduction to localizing SUMO. You will learn how the process works and what can be done to make SUMO available in your native language.
    3. Come over to our IRC channel and say "hi"!

You will soon hear back from our community members - remember that these forums are for YOU! If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to post here.

We are happy to see you here, and we hope you will have a good time at SUMO.

Cheers, Michał, on behalf of the SUMO l10ns

Yes, there is nothing stopping you from contributing in as many languages as you want (and are proficient in). Thanks!

  11. Hi Tramlee.

Thank you for your interest in joining our localization community. The best place to start is to read through this this article, that should guide you through SUMO localization workflow and first steps you need to complete. Of course before starting, it's good to get in touch with the existing community already working on localization to your language. What language do you want to localize to btw.? :)

  12. ¡Hola!

I've noticed multiple bits still in English after the redesign over at https://support.mozilla.org/es/

How do I go about fixing those?

    ¡Gracias! Alex

  18. Hello amarkiv.

Thank you for your interest. The Ukrainian (uk) team is not very active on SUMO. However AFAIK the contacts are valid and I believe if you reach out to Artem, he will get you on board. If not in the support portal here, than for the products definitely.

The Russian (ru) team is one of the most active ones around, both for SUMO and products. If you prefer Russian, the contacts are also on the respective [team dashboard](https://support.mozilla.org/ru/kb/locales/ru).

I hope you'll enjoy being part of the Mozilla localization teams!
