    Hi SUMO folks,

Over the past several months, our community has experienced a lot of changes. As we plan what's next, we want to step back and better understand what drives people to contribute, what you expect out of your contribution, and how we can build a meaningful contributor experience for everyone.

To help us do that, we'd love for you to complete the Mozilla Contributor Survey 2026: https://mzl.la/contribsurvey-2026

The survey will remain open until August 25, 2026 (UTC time), and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will help us improve the contributor experience across Mozilla, from onboarding and recognition, to how you think about the upcoming Mozilla Connect migration to SUMO.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Your feedback will help shape the future of Mozilla's contributor community.

    Hi folks,

I wanted to acknowledged that we discovered an incorrect link in the Connect migration section of the contributor survey. The link has now been updated and should point to the correct announcement thread on Mozilla Connect.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading the announcement before completing the survey, as it provides important context about the upcoming migration.

Thanks to all of you who have already taken the time to submit a response. Appreciate all the insights you've shared so far. 🙌

    Hi folks,

Thank you to everyone who has already participated in the survey. We really appreciate the feedback you've shared so far.

That said, we decided to extend the Mozilla Contributor Survey 2026 until September 1st (UTC end of day) to give more contributors a chance to share their feedback.

If you haven't filled it out yet, we'd really appreciate if you can do so before the deadline. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes, and your responses will help us better understand what motivates contributors, what matters most throughout the contributor journey, and how we can improve the experience going forward.

Please stay safe out there and #MozLove to you all. <3
