A new issue: ChatGPT is being unresponsive/unusable. See bug 2010712.
The issue is related to the compression dictionary support, introduced in Firefox 147, and currently, there are two good workarounds:
- Set network.http.dictionaries.enable to false.
- Enable "Install and run studies". The reason this works is that the pref has already been set to false via a study (because of bug 2009774), but if you have studies disabled, you will never receive this "fix".
Meanwhile, the developers are working on a fix, and I'll post an update once we have more info. It's likely that a dot release is issued, disabling the pref at the code-base level (see bug 2010739).
PS If someone has free time and inspiration to update the wiki page, you're welcome :D
