Error two days when trying to post a reply on Firefox support

  1. Today and yesterday, whenever I tried to post a reply on the Firefox support forum, I received a message stating that "an error has occurred".

Yesterday, the site was unable to provide a preview of my reply. Today it provided a preview but still posted the error message when I tried to post the reply. The error was recurrent.

I have tried removing all Mozilla cookies to no avail.

  8. I have this issue now in 2 threads which I both started. In both I could not answer once. I am curious, if this message gets through. BTW, I also tried 2 different logins and 2 different browsers without success.

  9. Ah, it got sent. ... So it seems, the problem only occurs to thread-starters.

  10. Sorry for the inconvenience! This problem was due to one of our third-party Python packages not working with Python 3.11.8. It should be fixed now.

  11. It appears to be fixed now as at least two who could not post replies in threads can post replies now.
