    Today is a release day for Firefox 120. As usual, we're going to use this thread to collect feedback and trending issues related to Firefox mobile version 120.

    Release Date: November 21, 2023

    New Features: Hundreds of new extensions: Firefox 120 introduces a "fully open" extension ecosystem for the mobile browser, allowing at least 200 new extensions to become available. These extensions can help solve user problems and improve the browsing experience. Preparation for a wider extension ecosystem: In anticipation of further expansion, Mozilla is conducting "guardrail testing" of additional mobile extensions throughout the 120 release cycle.

    Fixed Issues: Tabs tray bug: An issue where selecting tabs could accidentally close them has been resolved. Various security fixes: Several security vulnerabilities have been addressed.

    Pretty sure you're already aware of the full add-on support on Firefox for Android. Now that it's official, I'd like to suggest to pay special attention to Android performance issues that may have caused by add-ons. I know we don't have Troubleshooting Mode on Android so we have to patiently ask users to disable their add-ons one by one.

    On another note, the team is preparing for Fenix/Focus/Klar 121.0 to address the Samsung issue Paul's noted above. Please look out for the release early next week.

    Please don't hesitate to raise concern here if you found other issues that we haven't captured yet. Thanks!
