You should find Firefox 106 SUMO Sprint page in here. 106 is a special version (or Major Release/MR as we call it internally), so we also added the list of changes for this release in the sprint page.
Also, please make an effort to help with adding tags, especially in desktop forum, since we want to track inbounds volume associated with the main features for this release. Here are tags we're going to use for this release (you can also find them in the SUMO sprint page):
Desktop:
MR2022:desktop-onboarding
MR2022:colorways
MR2022:firefox-view
MR2022:text-recognition
MR2022:private-browsing
MR2022:pdf-annotations
Firefox Account:
MR2022:fxa-redesign

Based on the following Reddit thread, the Tab Manager (List All Tabs button) has finally been enabled by default. (Some people don't find useful.)

Worth noting that the private browsing shortcut is Windows only.
Linux users can create a dedicated .desktop file with a suffix of -private-window in the Exec line.
Not yet sure if MacOS users can do anything similar.

There may be a crash problem with users updating the Microsoft store version (which comes from Mozilla).
If you see anyone reporting crashes or issues with the 106 update, it would help if you could ascertain if they are using the version from the Microsoft store.

I just added Mozilla Connect discussion links for some specific features to our Firefox 106 SUMO Sprint page. Please refer users to the associated Mozilla Connect page for feedback about the feature.

Some users with older AMD CPUs have crashes on Twitch and perhaps other sites.

No known mitigations at the moment.
Thanks Jscher2000 for your input here. The AMD situation has been identified as an incident at this time. So we will definitely want to track volume of impacted users.
Lets tag with: bug1796126
So that we can capture Volume of impacted users. The Relman team and product team are investigating currently and are going to update the release notes to note this issue.

(I actually quite like 106, can't see what the problem is...)
Just a high level of what I think we are seeing on the Forum.
Normally for an update, we see crashes and profile issues. With this update we know we currently have two crash related incidents.
What that is considered, what I think we are mainly seeing are comments and questions about the themes:

Firefox 106 users are asking how to remove the List all tabs "V" icon that appears at the end of the Tab bar, even when all tabs are visible (shown here). A solution being offered in the support forum is to set the browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled preference to false in about:config. See

Worth noting that the effect of the browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled pref does automatically get reversed (with no change to the pref) if you open Fx View.
If a user flips that pref, restarts Fx, they will see the tab manager icon disappear, but if they then open Fx View, the icon will reappear.
