Lithium "Phase 2" API related bugs please file them TODAY

    Hello (not in order) jscher2000, Philipp, cor-el, Mozilla Hispano, safwan and others with Kitsune related API stuff:

    IMPORTANT: if you use the Kitsune APIs and you still need similar functionality in Lithium, we'll TRY to do it in Phase 2. Please file a bug (component: lithium migration, whiteboard [phase2] as follows:

    1. Tell us what your use case is
    2. point us to your software that works today in Kitsune using the Kitsune APIs (or describe how you use 3rd party software that invokes the APIs)

    IF you are too busy to file a bug, reply here or email me (i don't often read private messages) rtanglao AT mozilla.com

    Deadline: it would be wonderful if you have the bugs filed by Thursday January 19th, 2017

    my addon was only made as a workaround - i was planning to retire it after the switch to lithium anyway, as i suppose they have better or at least some spam filtering in place on their platform. so no API needs for myself...

    ooops I forgot about these questions from cor-el back in December 2016:

    1. What will be the future of the current API (Django REST)? 2. Will there still be raw data in JSON format available (questions,answers,users)?

    Sorry for not answering this sooner

    1. The current API will stop working when we migrate to Lithium (the current date for this is January 31, 2017)

    2. There will be some sort of API . I believe it is a REST API. It will be the normal Lithium API. Not sure if it is JSON. I will find out and post a link to the Lithium API docs.
