I must admit that I have moved to using Nightly on my Android device, but there is a feature in Nightly that allows you to go straight to a web page when the app is started instead of the awesome screens. I am not sure if this is in 44, but this is something that is possibly more like the user expectation for "Users can set their homepage when starting Firefox".
Am I a little too far ahead of a curve? :-)

Unfortunately we can't guarantee that Firefox for Android will release a feature at the same time as Firefox for Desktop for this feature or any other feature :-( even when they technically could be released simultaneously :-)
