What were the goals?
Receive and document constructive feedback about both elements of SUMO to be turned into practical changes to both elements.
What has been discussed?
- SUMO Event Kit: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Support/SUMO_event_kit
- Get Involved page: https://support.mozilla.org/get-involved
What are the next steps?
- Madalina & Michał: for the Get Involved page, investigate and prioritize possible updates to the page, including (but not limited to):
- updating the visual style (to match mozilla.org)
- rearranging the content & navigational structure
- including the sign up process for new Contributors on the page itself
- customizing the page look based on the user being a Contributor or not
- Madalina & Michał: for the SUMO Event Kit, investigate and prioritize possible updates to the page, including (but not limited to):
- defining what a SUMO event is and what its goal should be
- adding and organize additional multimedia resources (including content created by the Community)
- adding a detailed description of the process of organizing an event and requesting Mozilla support for it
- moving the page from the MozWiki to the KB
How can the Community help with the next steps?
- Provide additional feedback in this thread
- Help with the execution of prioritized updates (if possible)
- Help with the future maintenance of the SUMO Event Kit (updates and expansions to materials listed there), based on events that took place and future needs
