What is the Position with DRM on Mac & Linux
Whether or not there are issues with open source on some Linux distros software has been obtainable outside of distros, and of most relevance here we have Mozilla builds of Firefox for Macs and Linux.
Also AIUI we do not incorporate the none open source code directly ourselves, even in Firefox Windows we use code from a partner.
I will cross post this as a separate question, and it is probably best answering there.

I'm not very sure what your ask is, but yes, we will be bringing DRM to Mac (at least) in the future. I can't find the bug for Mac or linux implementation right now, but they have external dependencies on Adobe and our partners to make sure they happen.

Unfortunately this isn't something I know the complete answer to, but I do know that there is no change to the levels of support Firefox has for other platforms. Netflix and Adobe are our two big partners for DRM, and it's up to them to choose rollouts. We aren't changing our support for other platforms however, and it will eventually rollout there as well.

Adobe does not support Linux fully for FlashPlayer. When we partnered with Adobe for the DRM support are you confirming they agreed they will support Mozilla Firefox for Linux and Mac.

John, like I said above, I don't have complete information here. I believe that we will have support on Linux, I'm 90% sure that we will have support on Mac. we just need to play the waiting game here :)

Well only with security/stability updates to the old 11.2 esr branch for plugin based browsers.
It is possible to use the Pepper flash plugin (from Chrome browsers) in Firefox/SeaMonkey on Linux with the help of libfreshwrapper-pepperflash.so (not a link but filename). Tried it for a bit on Sunday. Was not the best in working compared to Adobe Flash for me but it is a possible option for sites that do not support the old 11.2 branch.
