  1. SLEEP PROBLEM

There have been posts and bugs about a problem with Firefox failing to wake from sleeping properly. Possibly disabling hardware acceleration helps.

If anyone can reliably reproduce this and run mozregression to find a regression range this bug is asking for a regression window

  2. Mac MEMORY PROBLEM

This may not be a new problem but apparently may be seen in Firefox 22 with no addons and is severe causing a hang within minutes. I thought I would crosslink to this thread to get some more eyes on this.

We seem to have an unexplained problem on Mac OS x with memory use climbing rapidly until within a few minutes it hangs. This is apparently seen with no add-ons or plugins. It is something that Noah_SUMO is looking into with developer assistance. This is apparently seen in Fx21 and earlier and is even worse in Fx22 If you are able to reproduce this yourself or come across someone who can maybe you would lend a hand. More details in my mega-post

The issue is apparently fixed in Firefox 23 beta. See Bug 873110 comment 24 dated today.

Users are reporting that webpages with embedded audio that used to work in Firefox 21 stop working in Firefox 22. Turns out the cause is the <embed> tag with the "hidden" attribute. Here's the related bug (looks like it will be fixed in Firefox 23)

    • Bug 890516 - Embedded audio stopped working after installing FF 22
