Firefox Support forum: issue about resetting the Sync password not working

   I've seen a lot of threads lately about people who try to reset their Firefox Sync password and they do not get a reply with a new password.

   Is this a known issue with sync and is it being worked on?

   Nice tracking on this. I got my hands dirty and asked the guys over @ #sync in Mozilla IRC and they said they are aware of the issue & have filed a bug.

   Bug was filed 9/24/12 and seems to affect even the BrowserID service:

   • Bug 793929 - sync: Not receive Firefox sync password reset email
   • Bug 794086 - browserid: password reset emails not being delivered to rsoderberg@mozilla.com _{RESOLVED WORKSFORME (spam issue) aw}

   I see that some Firefox users have attempted to reopen Bug 644566 - Not getting the Firefox Sync reset e-mail but were told to file a new bug.
