There is a major Firefox crash if users install with the stub installer (which doesn't prompt to close Firefox) while Flash is running. -- This is unlikely and would clearly be a Flash problem so we won't see that much traffic from it. To mitigate further, we're changing all the links we show to not use the stub installer. If you have a user with problems, link them to: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe instead of the adobe download page.
Do you have any references on using the installer from Adobe's download page causing crashes?
Where did you get the direct download link for install_flash_player.exe? There's a problem with that installer, since it apparently disables Protected Mode, a security feature. underpass and I tested it with other Flash installers and it only happens with that one. See the discussion here:

Hello! My name is Annica and I'm a new locale leader for Sweden. I've encountered a problem with Firefox 13 but I don't know were to turn.
Firefox 13.0.x has a problem with the back-button. In the Swedish version it's the short cut (on mac) ⌘+Ö but it has change (it seems like) and doesn't work any more. Now it's ⌘+left arrow. This should be changed in the firefox menu.
Hello Annica! Great to have you on board. Sorry for the delayed response. It got lost in the chaos from this Flash issue. Please file a bug on your issue and be sure to include as much detailed information as possible. That's the best way to get traction. Let me know if you need any help on the process.
Thanks again!

checked there. Is it supposed to be next to the top page in the list?
btw I'm on Aurora, so maybe it is removed and they didn't pull it from the UI in time?

Just a note: because of the risk in taking the fix into 13.0.2, we're delaying that while the fix is pushed to beta. It went out yesterday so we'll be monitoring feedback for Firefox 14 for a few days to see if it regresses anything with plugins. In particular, we should pay attention to more obscure plugins like Java.
