This thread is the place to nominate those SUMO community members who made your SUMO life easier by:
being friendly and making you feel at home in our community,
introducing you to other members of the SUMO community from your area,
answering your questions about what SUMO is and how it works,
showing you how SUMO tools work,
providing you with useful and inspiring examples of the support SUMO provides to users,
...and finally, doing anything else that is helpful and you think should be the characteristic of an awesome SUMO Buddy!
If you want to nominate someone to be awarded the SUMO Buddy Badge (the design still in the works, will be linked here when we have it) for a reason named above, please add your nomination below.
(Note: since we do a lot of community-related communications all the time, you can't nominate Madalina/Madasan or Michał/Vesper)
At the end of each month we will award the SUMO Buddy Badge to the most popular nominees. We'll also be looking into something more tangible than a virtual badge - stay tuned!
Example nominations (you can write your own, but don't forget to mention the username and the reasons for the nomination!):
"I want to nominate <<User X>> for showing me how Army of Awesome works (here are my tweets that I could send thanks to that explanation: <<link>>, <<link>>). Thank you!"
"I want to thank <<User Y>> for welcoming to SUMO and telling me where to find useful information about helping on the Support Forums. You can see my first answers if you click on my profile name!"
"I want to thank <<User Z>> for walking me through my first translation into my language and showing me where to find other localizers. Here's the article we worked on together <<link>>. Thanks!"

Thanks for the nomination, Ankit! Can you link to Mrinal's profile on SUMO? We usually want to highlight the most helpful SUMO community members (and that usually means they have a profile here).
Cheers!
