  I discovered that my default profile changed by itself to another disk. After I corrected it and replaced its password file with the old one, my passwords were restored.

  It happened as soon as Firefox updated to 58.0.2. Copying the old files from the Old Firefox Data profile to the new one did not work.

  None of the suggested fixes works with 58.0.2 which just attacked my computer. Any other ideas?
