Firefox and Chrome crash eachother

I have reliability monitor crash reports from today on Chrome and dwm.exe. (Desktop Window Manager), but the Chrome report is 40 minutes after Desktop Window Manager, so I don't know if they are related, but Chrome has 4 crash reports since 9/4 with no other accompanying dwm.exe reports on those dates. but the coincidence is worth considering to eliminate it as a factor. I have a number of cbs.log entries during the time of the dwm.exe report, but nothing for Chrome, occured 40 minutes later.

Im trying to change color of font for unread email for the latest version. To do this its says you have to edit the chrome/userChrome.css file in Style Editor. With earlier versions from what Ive read they had settings inbuilt to chnage font color within "Display" tab, for some reason it has been removed in later versions Im following these instructions https://devnodes.in/blog/misc/thunderbird-mail-theme-customize/ There's a part where it says "Next create file chrome/userChrome.css" in Thunderbird’s Profiles directory , but it doesnt say how to create it.

I've asked about this before but got no help Firefox is my browser of choice. Occasionally, I find in necessary to use Chrome. The vast majority of time, when are both are active at the same time, one or both crash, like today. Firefox closed abruptly, then the crash report appeared. I have the crash report. Chrome froze up, and had to be shut down in Task Manager. It only occurs in this scenario. Rarely does Firefox crash otherwise. Can someone please advise where to go to get help?

How to search for installed (both enabled and disabled) addons extensions in Firefox browser like chrome does via "chrome://extensions/" in 2025? It is quite surprising that in 2024-25, firefox still doesnt have any option to search for installed addons via "about:addons". You can only search for addon site, not for those installed on your device and profile and browser. Is firefox team really updating their browser for 2025 when compared to chrome?

New Windows 11 computer, videos will no longer play on Firefox, but will on Chrome, no extensions active. Also Yahoo articles display with with too much space between articles in Firefox, and normally on Chrome. The printer will not function, but will call DELL Support.

Firefox is the only major browser not based on chromium. There are chrome:// urls for Firefox and other Mozilla applications that has existed long before Google Chrome even existed in later 2008. Not sure if the chrome:// urls work in Firefox for Android though like they do in desktop Firefox.
