I have a number of pop3 accounts with the same mail host, but suddenly one of them gives me the message "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox."

I use Thunderbird on two Windows machines, and the problem is on both, so it is something in the interaction with the server, however, there is no problem accessing the mail via webmail directly on the server.

I have tried to change password on the account, but the problem did not go away. In fact, I got the box to tell me that the old password did no longer work, so I know that the problem pops up after log in to the account. Before the error message appears, the message "downloading 208 messages" (or something similar) briefly appears.

Is there a way to find out exactly what fails?

I'm not sure if this is a right place to ask, but since calendars are on Thunderbird page I guess it is. I downloaded a calendar from https://www.thunderbird.net/uk/calendar/holidays/ for Ukraine (direct link -- https://www.thunderbird.net/media/caldata/autogen/UkraineHolidays.ics) and it doesn't contain any holiday. I did that from my Nextcloud server and directly from browser -- both times result is the same.

I want to have the same font and font-size in:

• my HTML message body text
• my signature.html file

so I can send consistent and nice-looking e-mails, like you would expect.

Here are my current settings:

• Settings > General > Language & Fonts > Fonts >
  • Default font: Arial
  • Size: 12
  • Advanced: For both "Latin" and "Other Writing Systems" I have the settings you can see in the attached screenshots.

I heard that these settings are for personal viewing.

• Settings > Composition > HTML Style >
  • Font: Arial
  • Size: Medium

I heard that these settings are for viewing by recipients.

The first line of my signature.html file looks like this: div style="font-family: 'Arial'; color: #222; line-height: 1.0; font-size: 14px;"

There is always a slight font size mismatch of the message text with my signature.

I unsuccesfully tried tweaking the html font size values in px or pt to match the given size in Settings > Composition > HTML Style for Medium or Large.

It seems that the available font size granularity of Medium or Large just does not match corresponding pixel or point values?

I would be extremely grateful if someone can guide me on how to achieve this!

If there is no valid solution for this problem, I'm happy to open/report an issue on this.

Using Outlook - this morning received the following email: I just clicked on it to copy to send to you and it disappeared. It was a thank you for applying to a job. I did not do so. I am not sure what this is all about. The dark web has my email address?? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

I upgraded my Fedora nad I think that Thunderbird 149 came with that upgrade. I cannot send mails. Ctrl+enter has no reaction. Downgraded to 148 and everyhing is fine. |<

Hi I am an older person and have lost my profiles on thunderbird email - one is [redacted]@xtra.co.nz and the other is [redacted]@xtra.co.nz. We are in NZ and accidently deleted the Thunderbird profile and not the corrupted new profile I was setting up. Thank you. Gloria Sandbrook. I cannot open the email program with Thunderbird, I have trie to open it by pressing Shift and Thunderbird Icaon, thus the Repair menu opens, I have tried every combination in that , like starting in the secured modus, but it did not help, I have tried to delete the "parent-lock" data in %appadat%\Thunderbird\Profiles\ - it said that I cannot delete it,because it is opened in Thunderbird. I have to find a new email carrier. 1) Is there a cost to Thunderbird email and is it the same as Thundermail? 2) Can I transfer my current email messages to be saved? 3) Can I use Thunderbird mail inside of Microsoft Outlook like is the case with my current email? 4) And current email is embedded inside of Gmail on my mobile phone. How would Thunderbird work on my phone?

Changed our broadband provider on Friday from PlusNet to EE and, since then, have been unable to reply to emails on my Thunderbird Mozilla account. I am still receiving them but when I attempt to reply I get the message:

"Sending of the message failed.

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <X@dolhun.co.uk> recipient rejected - relay denied. Please check the message recipient "X@dolhun.co.uk" and try again."

Can anyone offer any help please? I am not very computer savvy unfortunately 'Regarding the question below which I have answered 149.0, to be honest I don't know which Thunderbird version I have but I had to fill in something!!
