Was kann ich tun? Habe Probleme mit mozilla. Bei derAuführung der Programme Thunderbird ( ständig ) und Firefox ( manchmal ) kommt es zu Abstürzen wie Programm keine Rückmeldung, einfrieren so das keine Eingaben mehr möglich sind und ich jedesmal das Programm schließen und neu starten muß.

I cannot get Thunderbird to launch. It acts like it is stuck on perhaps one account and circles keep spinning as if it never can get a few of my tabbed emails open. It keeps saying it "isn't responding." Since this began happening a few days ago, I've stopped the Thunderbird task through Task Manager, I've shutdown and restarted my whole system multiple times, I've updated to the latest Windows platform and made sure my drivers were all up to date... I can't update my thunderbird (if required) because I can't get in in the first place. I have hundreds of emails in multiple accounts under my current Thunderbird. I can't afford to lose all that history. I don't know which version I'm using because, again, I can't get the desktop app to launch. What do I do?

I have been having difficulties with my email service provider and Thunderbird. So am trying to export my contacts. They still, fortunately, show up in Thunderbird. When I go to export, it doesn't give me any options on saving other than exporting into a zip file a profile backup.... no contact list like I really need.

I have 2 email addresses which I can't access the first one because I lost my number. Now I need to link the first email to the current account without having to use my older phone number.

I am currently unable to send emails. I am getting a error message saying: Connection refused - OB116. 159.196.15.181 is blacklisted in Abusix Mail Intelligence. I can receive emails but not send them.

WHY HAS A CERTIFICATE BEEN DENIED ON MY THUNDEREBIRD ACCOUNT..HEAPS OF EMAILS HAVE BEEN STUCK IN LIMBO...WHY?

Can't get rid of this spam: ecare.all.r@emailff.att-mail.com Unfortunately I clicked on it and multiple spam sites came up. I've tried the spam filter and it doesn't work. Suggestions?

Hi there, I’ve spent many hours trying to find an answer. Perhaps it’s right under my nose, but I just can’t seem to find it. Please help!

I’ve created extra folders in Thunderbird to keep my messages organized. Question: How can I locate a specific folder?

Example: I create a folder named "a555". I CANNOT FIND THE FOLDER "a555".

(why did I choose "a555"? It’s a unique combination of letters and numbers, which ensures there are no unintended search results.)

Searching for a message does reveal the name of the folder it’s contained in, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I want to be able to search for the folder itself directly.

I have tried searching using: Global Search (top right) – Ctrl + K; Specific Search – Ctrl + Shift + F; This Thunderbird forum; A general search on the internet.

Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Arthur Cerew.

After the update to version 158.0 it opens and shortly afterwards freezes. i have opened in troubleshooting mode, uninstalled the app, disabled antivirus and deleted the msf files.

Nothing solves the problem.

I recently set up Thunderbird for Windows as a troubleshooting step for my Yahoo Mail account which has been generating an incessant number of authentication pop-ups in Microsoft Outlook (Classic) for Windows. I had been using New Outlook for many months before switching to Classic Outlook a couple of weeks ago. With New Outlook, there had been no authentication issues nor pop-ups appearing. I have been using the OAuth authentication, not app passwords, in all cases.

Setup within Thunderbird was relatively easy and the OAuth authentication went through without issues. The account has synchronized and seems to be continuing to do so as I read, delete, and send messages.

However, when I went in to the Activity Manager, I'm seeing a number of errors, appearing every 10-15 minutes or so. They read as follows:

• Alert from account xxx@yahoo.com: AUTHENTICATE Server error - Please try again later

• The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account xxx@yahoo.com responded: UID FETCH completed.

• The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account xxx@yahoo.com responded: p.

Can anyone help me understand what they mean? It would help me stabilize Thunderbird and might give some clues as to what is happening in Outlook Classic for me. It would seem some have authentication issues with Yahoo on different platforms while the service works perfectly fine for others. I would like to move away from Yahoo as I find it finicky with a number of its features, but I'm a long-term user (25+ years) and don't see that being a practical solution at the moment.

I need to increase the font size of the display. It is about 8 point. I cannot find an article that says how to increase the display when I first open Thunderbird. I can increase the font form the actual message or replies.

Meine Festplatte ging kaputt. Auf der neuen Festplatte können meine in den dortigen lokalen Ordnern abgespeicherten emails nicht mehr gelesen werden. Ich weiß, dass diese noch irgendwo vorhanden sind. Wie komme ich wieder an diese?
