Up until recent versions, I had the option to choose after what duration of inactivity, all open private tabs would close automatically. After the recent update, I can't locate this setting. Moreover, the duration is now not just non customizable, but also random. Sometimes, Firefox closes them in a couple of minutes, sometimes 20, and after more than an hour at other times.

Hello Mozilla Support Team, I’m facing an issue while accessing my website https://sreevikash.com/

on Firefox for Android. The site either loads partially or does not render correctly compared to other browsers like Chrome.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open Firefox on an Android device

Go to https://sreevikash.com/

Observe the page layout and loading behavior

Expected Result: The website should load fully with proper layout, images, and styling, similar to other modern browsers.

Actual Result: Some elements do not load correctly, and the layout appears broken or incomplete.

Device Information:

Device: Android smartphone

OS Version: Android (please specify version if required)

Firefox Version: Latest version from Play Store

Network: Mobile data / Wi-Fi

Additional Notes: The website works fine on Chrome and desktop browsers. I would appreciate guidance on whether this is a Firefox compatibility issue or something that needs to be fixed on my website.

Thank you for your support.

Today, using Firefox--or at least what i think is Firefox--i checed session history while logged into my mega.nz account. It lists 2 instances, one of which is for 3 days prior when I originally set up the Mega account using the Mega app, and the other is for yesterday when I entered the account using the FF browser--or, again, what i think is the FF browser. What's curious is that it shows i was using the Chrome browser, and that I'm apparently still using this browser as it's listed as the "Current" session. How can this be? While I have the Chrome app on my phone, I disabled it long ago and have never used it, and most certainly did not use it during the time and activities in question. I have long speculated that I have been hacked and that my phone is sometimes (always?) controlled by this hacker, though no solid proof. Assuming the hacker uses Chrome, could this be reflecting their using the Chrome browser, as opposed to the FF browser, which I'm currently using (or think im using)? In other words, is this the proof of a hack? Or is this a glitch within Mega, mistakingly listing Chrome as my browser?

Which data are stored in "User Data" and how to clear this kind of stored data? When deleting data in the privacy settings in Firefox, the "User Data" storage is still unchanged. Also "Cache" is not cleared completely.

The "User Data" raises up to 1GB. It is only possible to clear it by completely wiping all data via "Clear Storage" but then everything is wiped, also all Firefox settings etc. "Clear Cache" obviously only wipes the Cache.

Firefox for Android performance issues when using web-based emulators

Hi everyone,

I’m using Firefox for Android on a fairly recent device and wanted to ask about performance when running web-based applications that are a bit heavier than normal websites.

Specifically, when using browser-based emulation tools or interactive web apps, I notice higher memory usage, occasional tab reloads, and sometimes audio or input lag after a few minutes. This doesn’t always happen on simpler sites, so it feels related to how Firefox handles long-running JavaScript and WebAssembly workloads on Android.

I wanted to ask:

Are there any recommended Firefox settings or flags to improve performance for heavier web apps?

Is Firefox for Android known to aggressively suspend tabs under memory pressure?

Would using private tabs, disabling certain features, or changing about: config settings help in this case?

I’m mainly trying to understand whether this is expected behavior or if there are optimizations I can apply.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I regularly visit a site whose URL begins with "ni". When I type "ni", the full URL appears an an autofill suggestion. This is the desired behaviour.

Unfortunately, after visiting the site "nitecruzr.blogspot.com", this site is autofilled when I type "ni".

Firefox's documentation sais that if I delete the page from my history, it won't autofill again. Unfortunately, after deleting the page, this site still autofills when I type "ni".

How can I actually remove this site from address-bar autofill?

In Firefox Mobile app... When I click Print option (for print pdf) It opens default printing app and it opens default letter format with header footer automatically added to the page

There is no option to remove header footer (this only appears in Firefox print...)

2nd problem is when I switch to landscape print it just shrink the letter size to the left and right half page is blank... Not responsive.. not automatically fits to the paper size... You can check the attachment for visuals of the problem.. Please fix this adjustment and header footer link problem or provide built it browser printer for custom printing options before launching the printing app.

When I go to the firefox website and tap on the microphone to ask a question the Google speech services comes up and I cannot adjust the loud volume on your settings or the phone Google settings. I have a Samsung Galaxy A25 5g phone and on Android 16. I have tried finelock sound assistant and that does not help. Is there an extension that Firefox has that I can use to adjust the volume when tapping on the microphone on Firefox?

I also have a Lenovo Tab M9 9" HD Tablet that has the Android 13 version on it and have no problem at all adjusting the microphone volume on that through the tablet setting.

(1) Page become blank and only show big firefox logo everytime i switch from other app.

(2) after the page become blank, If you type new url in the url bar on this page, it doesn't go to your URL instead the page will refresh to the previous url. So you have to enter your URL twice. It look like some memory issue, but my phone has 12 GB RAM, run on latest android and hyperOS 3.0

This good browser become barely usable with this annoying bug. So please fix this issue.

If I have a YouTube video open in another tab, when I switch back to that tab my screen will automatically become landscape mode and will not rotate to portrait mode. The video doesn't become fullscreen; it doesn't matter whether the video is playing or not. This happens even with auto-rotate turned off. The only way to get the tab back to portrait mode is to make the video fullscreen and then minimize it, after which auto-rotate works correctly again.

I am writing to report a serious performance and connectivity issue with Firefox on Android. The browser is extremely slow, pages take too long to load, and connections frequently fail despite having a stable and fast internet connection. Other browsers on the same device work perfectly, which suggests the problem is specific to Firefox. Clearing cache, disabling add-ons, and reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue. This significantly affects daily browsing and productivity. I request that this issue be investigated and optimized as soon as possible, as Firefox reliability on Android has noticeably declined in recent updates.

Firefox on android gets stuck in landscape mode after playing a video on YouTube. Usually this happens after exiting fullscreen but can also happen when switching to another app and back to firefox. Going in and out of fullscreen again usually fixes it, but you can't do that on shorts and it's very annoying. I tried to use a fix posted 7 years ago of going to about:config (which I had to go to separate settings and enable to even get there) and toggling media.videocontrols.lock-video-orientation, but that setting doesn't appear to exist anymore. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
