Before the update, if you turned on private browsing mode on your mobile, it would always be in private browsing mode. But now, if you turn off Firefox, private browsing mode will be turned off. Always private browsing mode was a big advantage of Firefox. I suggest you roll back the update or make it always private.

In Firefox android, sometimes when I press the address bar, instead of coloring and deleting the whole address, so I can type new address, it goes into some editing mode, where when I start typing, it starts continuing the address already there. What is this extremely annoying feature? I share a screenshot where an address is colored. The grey "normal" part, and the purple part where the cursor is when I start typing.

It is absolutely annoying, that there is no field, where one can enter the URL to go to (like in FF on desktop). It is extremely annoying and violates my privacy when the URL entered in the search bar is sent to the search engine. And in turn a whole lot of junk is displayed, but no direct link to the URL I entered is shown. No one needs such nonsense.

On occasion, I have sites using "disable ad blocker". Mostly, I do not continue, but on some occasions I want, or need to continue and am willing to disable the "ad blocker", but there is no seeming ability to identify the ad blocker. I go to extensions, and see only recommendations. You probably know this, but in case, I am using an android phone. . Bottom line is I can't see a site that I wish to view. Thank you

Ever since I had to reset my phone's settings to troubleshoot another app, Firefox keeps dumping all of the thumbnails for my tabs seemingly every day now, even if I keep it open and give it unrestricted battery access.

This did not used to happen and is exceedingly frustrating.

I am a Samsung Galsfy s22. See attached image for my software details

As a note, I know this may sound hostile, but 'keep less tabs open' is not a welcome or helpful answer. When I tried to search this, that was the only 'answer' I saw given to some other user who had this issue years ago. As I said, this only happened after my settings got messed up, so I know something is off, as it used to work fine

Specifically, this is the 'advice' that screwed it up for me.

Reset App Preferences:** Go to your device's settings, then Apps, and reset app preferences to ensure no default settings are impacting Discord."

And it's now getting worse and more bizarre. Just last night I reloaded some tabs, went to do the same to others, and then found those first ones were unloaded again. But comparatively older tabs stayed open. I don't even see a pattern of the type of site that it blanks more quickly, it's bizarre.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We use Firefox for Android as our default browser. It allows 2x rows of up to 4x shortcuts per row on the homepage.

Would it be possible for next version to allow 3 rows or even 4? Since shortcuts are a very handy feature.

when I download an image from a web page I get a pop-up near the bottom that shows that the download was completed successfully. while normally this may appear to be a useful feature this has the primary issue in that it is blocking an important component of a frequent used website.

Swiping away the notification does not allow me to interact with website control and I must change pages or wait some indeterminate amount of time.

I would highly desire a method to disable this on page pop-up.

Pop-ups of any sort have been the bane of users existence since early days of browsers, adding your own does not mean it's necessarily good.

I have attached an example of the pop-up I am talking about.

Hello, the problem is that when playing music on the vk.com website in the background, it stops after a few seconds.

In other cases, it also plays until the end in the background, but does not play the next track.
I would also like to add a couple of buttons

"Next Track" (⏭),

"Previous Track" (⏮) to the "Music Control Widget" that appears in notifications on my smartphone.
Also, please add a progress bar that currently doesn't support rewinding from the "notifications" window or movement animations.

i want to create printable or downloadable sheets in A4 dimensions. (Working in Firefox for desktop and others)

As i tried it on Firefox for android, it seems like the page is first converted in an letter-format pdf, which is then printed on A4, which messes up the document. (Additional margins at the sides and bottom.) The Share->Save as PDF-Document looks just like the wrapping letter-page.

Is there an option (css-rule/selector, custom meta-tag or the like) i can use to get the PDF as A4-format?

I would prefer to use Firefox as my password manager in Xiaomi HyperOS system. In display over other apps, Firefox isn't listed, it does provide the option to select as password manager however. Will this affect the performance? Thanks.

This has been the most insane thing I have had to deal with on firefox, there are some "entries" on my android history (NOT PRESENT ON DESKTOP) and no matter what I do they are still present on history. -deleted all history after removing sync - clear data -uninstall -not a bookmark -removed android from synced devices No matter what the website is still there, hiding "history" from search results hides obviously everything but that's not a solution, keep in mind while synced the website will show under history of my android device but not on my desktop

Normally, files I download are saved to the Downloads folder, but today I saved a file (save link as) and it was downloaded to the 'Movies' folder, is this a bug? I was in this website (https://www.eev3.com/mp3/mmwmdhhvm.html) and click the '歌词下载' button to download file, it's a .lrc file, and I found it in 'Movies' folder.

I'm trying to add the Proton VPN Extension to Firefox for Android on my Samsung Pad. Downloaded the file but when I try to open it I get a message "No app found to open xpi files" What is recommended toget this extension installed? Appreciate any Help.

Don't have a clue which topic this should be under. Galaxy S24 Ultra phone, had it for a while. Don't use it to buy anything. Tower is for that. All of a sudden I have been getting pop ups at any time the phone is on. I use the phone to check blood sugar. Turn the phone on, hit the app for checking and almost instantly I get a popup. If/when I motion lower left up to get rid of that, the screen goes to a web site with a firefox logo on the top of the screen. I have never accessed this website to the best of my knowledge. The site is https://2edm.4upic.xyz/ . I am using Bitdefender and Malware bytes. Took the phone to my phone company, left it with them and nothing good came of that trip. If I leave the phone screen turned on, within a couple minutes another popup shows up. I'm starting to think I'm going to have to completely wipe the phone and start from scratch. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these problems. Thanks, Charlie
