Just downloaded the newest update. When clicking the back button, the tab frequently crashes. It brings me back to the page I was on previously.

My firefox crashes every time I try to open the app. Restarting my phone and redownloading the app does not help, and I cannot access the app to do much else.

Hello! I’m a bit concerned because firefox has been functioning perfectly fine up to last week, when it started not crashing, but losing the opened sessions. I had many tabs that I would go back to after closing firefox. And then suddenly, when I opened it, there were no tabs at all. This happened again yesterday. And today again. I cannot find the option “restore previous session” like on the computer, so I go to history and manually restore the lost tabs, and of course it isn’t possible to remember everything, so lots are being lost. Could you help me? Many thanks!

Thank god for jailbreak, I downgraded to the stable 116.4. Cleared web data, rebooted to a non-jailbreak state, updated to 117 and still crashes.
Back to 116.4 until a solution or feedback.

I’m running iOS 16.6, with around 21GB of free space.

Whenever firefox is running in the background waiting to be used, it crashes as soon as i click an external link or open the application from my home screen. Opening the app after not using it for 5 minutes causes the app to freeze, and won’t respond until the app is restarted completely.
Within the last week or two - my Firefox app continuously freezes since the 116 version. I had to delete it for the 3rd time today.

For the two nights any tabs i have open on mozilla are wiped out. Not the first time this happened, and last time i managed to somewhat fix it. I tend to keep a lot open, but today it was well under 20 and it still every tab vanished and i had to go digging to find the windows i was keeping to read, listen to music, and last few times i lost a lot of art references and recipes i never found again. Finding the ‘need to haves’ in history only works for tabs i kept outside of private browsing, and looking for the lost tabs is well over an hour for only 10-13 tabs to be found since i look up a lot of random things. Am beyond wits end as i spent three hours up late trying to fix it, only to spend another two trying to fix it when it happened again

I’m having a issue with the app on iOS where sometimes if I leave the app to do other things then return to the app later on it will be frozen. Sometimes I can open the keyboard and type but nothing happens. I also can’t scroll web pages and the app doesn’t come back alive. Instead I have to force close it.
