When I use firefox to sign in to my gmail account ([edited] @gmail.com), firefox will not save my password so I have to enter my email and password every time. I can't find the option to remember password anywhere. What can I do to get firefox to save my password. Thank you. Walter Schmid

Recently, Firefox has stopped asking to save passwords when I sign in to a new website account. The “Save Passwords” function is turned on.

Dear Firefox-Support,
while using the iPad App in version 138.0 to generate a secure password today, this password was not saved. I was using the change password function on an account previously not known to my Firefox account. When I acknowledged the password change and was prompted to sign in in the same tab, neither the function that should remember the new password within the same session worked, nor was it saved with the other passwords.
I think it is unlikely you can help me find this password again, but I would like to make you aware, that this szenario might be an issue.

I have FF on my new iPad, but also on my old iPhone SE and Win7 netbook. FF on my iPad no longer saves or updates passwords. I may have broken things when I changed my sync email, or maybe changed a setting on the iOS password app. Undoing those changes has made no difference. I’d be very grateful if someone could help me out of this mess, as my only option is to wipe the iPad and start again. Thanks! Mal.
