Firefox for iOS Support Forum

I have a login screen that is book marked in Firefox. When I use this on my PC (Windows 11), it correctly displays and then Norton Password Manager prompts to complete the id/password. However in Firefox ios, when the screen appears, it is preloaded. I dont know where it get this data from, but either the website doesnt allow it, or the password entered is wrong. Either way I have to delete the password and re-enter it to continue.

WHere is it getting this autofill from and why does it do it in ios but not the PC version?

I e updated to the latest version. I noticed when I click in the search bar and the keyboard comes up I can not access my bookmarks with out hitting the back arrow and the keyboard dropping then hitting the hamburger to get to them. Could you please make the bookmarks more accessible. Such as possibly an icon that stays on the screen like safari or something to that extent.

I cant transfer my bookmarks from safari to firefox - how can i grant access to firefox for my safari bookmarks.plist please?

I've found the file and copied it to my desktop and a flashdrive, how do I add it to firefox now. The normal way can't get past the 'explicit permission needed' stage. Is there a way to import it another way? Thanks.

Very weird issue! I can no longer get to netflix.com. I have a subscription and have never had an issue.

When I try all I get is a blank tab - no error message, nothing. I can access any other website I go to with no issues. When I looked up help, all the links to Netflix (their customer service, chat, etc. - anything that contains "netflix.com") also comes up a blank tab. I googled to see if their website was down - no. (I don't have Ad Blocker extension.) I looked to see if I had somehow blocked the site - no. I cleared history and cache - didn't help.

Any ideas?????

Bookmarks does not work. Please fix and post good instructions. See the many other negative complaints about Bookmarks. It should not be this hard to establish a bookmark folder and place an item in that that folder. Very frustrating to use!

Attempted to scroll through a folder of bookmarks (Firefox for iOS on an older iPad Pro that’s been fully updated to iOS 16.1). About halfway through the scroll, the app shuts down. Upon restart, it restores tabs, but also apparently clears cache, forcing me to re-login to accounts.

My mobile bookmarks have gone missing. I think the reason is that I bought a new iPad and transferred everything over to the new one automatically using the Apple transfer feature. My bookmarks made it over to the new iPad, but the mobile ones did not...and were then gone from my old iPad as well.

One clue: on the new iPad, the folder at the top is now called 'desktop bookmarks.' Anyway, all of the advice about mobile bookmarks on this site entails navigating to the profile on a desktop for a prior version...which is not possible on an iPad. Help getting the bookmarks back would be most welcome!

Recently my ipad updated the app to v106. Before the new bookmarks would save by where the latest bookmarks were at, now they are appearing above the older ones kinda messing with my folders I have on top.

In this latest version, if you attempt to remove an item from the home page by a long press on the icon, when the menu pops up and you choose remove, nothing happens. Worked before I upgraded the version.

You can make that item a shortcut, visiting the page and then remove shortcut using the menu choice under the burger menu. But that is a pain.
