Sometimes the certificate test fails on perfectly valid websites. Kenyan government websites are an example e.g. the immigration services site: fns.immigration.go.ke

You then offer no option other than 'try again', which of course fails again. No further access is permitted by Firefox Focus. Yet, I still must access the site (I legally must access immigration services through the site), which is actually valid, so have to switch browser. Thus the certificate test ultimately is actually not achieving anything.

This is far from the only site that this happens with. I have had renowned restaurants, coach companies, etc all fail your test, yet they have valid websites. It is a frequent issue.

I feel either substantial tweaking of the test may be needed. Or abandon it altogether. Every time Firefox Focus throws up this issue it refuses to go further and I am obliged to use another browser.

I manage an online creative readers group. When members post pages for critique, we receive an email notification of the posting, including a downloadable link to their upload. Three days ago, while I still receive the notice, I am no longer able to download the attachment from the notice.

I get this alert noting the attachment link as not secure.

https://groupsio.zendesk.com/attachments/token/DhTxRcPsJ5gpv8aBBayDtrvJR/?name=Screenshot+2026-10-31+at+2.39.01+PM.png (screenshot uploaded)

Members tell me their notices still have the download function. I have made NO changes to my setup. I have contacted the help desk at the site Groups.io, but so far no corrections have been made. They suggested seeking help from my browser, hence this message.

Any assistance will be greatly accepted,

Rob

I have facing following issue please solve with government websites the error is, what to do please reply my work is stopped due to error

Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with www.udyamregistration.gov.in. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails.

When I try to open the Indian Digital Police Citizen Services website (https://digitalpolicecitizenservices.gov.in/) in Firefox, I receive the security error “Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.”

I understand that this warning may indicate a problem with the website’s SSL certificate. I would like to know why Firefox displays this warning and whether there is any official update or recommended action for users.

Is this issue related to the website’s certificate chain, and should users wait for the website administrator to renew or replace the affected certificate?

I do not want to bypass the security warning. I would appreciate guidance on how to verify when the website is safe to access again.

I am unable to connect with https://www.stpaulsmaumee.org/ using Firefox or other browsers. This has been an intermittent problem for about 6 weeks. Starting this week the problem seems to exist for all browsers. No other websites seem to be affected.

I can't get into any of my websites I have bookmarked. The TLS constantly comes up. I've turned off my antivirus and firewall and still nothing. How do I turn this off. I need to change my password for my Dental insurance site, but TLS won't let me in with the link they have sent me.

Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with crsorgi.gov.in. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails. Advanced What makes the site look dangerous?

Firefox is warning you about this site because the certificate provided for crsorgi.gov.in has been revoked and isn’t trusted anymore. What can you do about it?

Probably nothing, since it’s likely there’s a problem with the site itself. You can check with the website owner to see if they are working on the problem.

• • Subject: False Security Warning Blocking Access to Official ATR/BPN Internal Website**

Dear Mozilla Firefox Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue with Firefox blocking access to the official Indonesian Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) internal work website:

https://aplikasi.atrbpn.go.id

When I try to access this website, Firefox displays a warning stating, *“Be careful on this site — Firefox noticed something suspicious,”* along with a connection failure notification.

This issue is seriously disrupting my daily work because I need to access this official government website to perform my duties. The website is an essential work resource, and being unable to access it through Firefox is causing unnecessary delays.

I understand that Firefox has security mechanisms to protect users from potentially harmful websites. However, I would appreciate it if your team could investigate whether this warning is a false positive or whether there is a technical issue involving the website's security certificate, connection, or reputation.

Please review this issue and provide guidance on how I can safely access the website without compromising my browser's security.

I would appreciate a prompt resolution, as this issue is directly affecting my ability to carry out my official responsibilities.

Thank you for your attention and assistance.

Best regards, A concerned Firefox user

When Firefox displays a **"Your connection is not secure"** warning like this, it means the browser has detected an issue with the website's security certificate or configuration, preventing it from establishing a safely encrypted connection.

1. 1. 1. What You Should Do Right Now

• **Do not log in or enter sensitive data:** Never type your passwords, credit card details, or personal identification information into a page that triggers this warning.
• **Do not bypass the warning blindly:** While browsers sometimes offer an "Advanced" option to proceed anyway, doing so on an official government portal experiencing cryptographic or certificate errors puts your data at high risk.

1. 1. 1. Why This Happens & How to Check It

1. **Certificate Issues on the Server:** Government portals sometimes experience expired SSL certificates, incomplete security chains, or misconfigured domain names. If the website's security credentials have lapsed on their end, Firefox blocks access to protect you. 2. **Incorrect Device Clock:** Check the date, time, and time zone settings on your computer or phone. If your device's clock is significantly out of sync, Firefox will incorrectly think the website's security certificate has expired or isn't valid yet, triggering a false alarm. 3. **Network Interference:** Public Wi-Fi networks, captive portals, or local third-party antivirus/security software can sometimes intercept traffic and cause certificate mismatch warnings. Try switching to a different network (like your mobile hotspot) to see if the error persists.

1. 1. 1. Alternative Official Channels

If you are trying to apply for an Indian visa from Bangladesh, the primary and centralized portal managed by the Government of India is:

• **[indianvisaonline.gov.in](https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/)**

If the specific subdomain or link you are using continues to throw certificate warnings, it is usually best to wait until the site administrators resolve the server-side security fault rather than risking your personal data.

i need this site for visa application

you are blocking "entry.ostralia.cc" saying the ssl is expired....

BUT SSLCHECKER link text shows it's OK ! and all other browsers allow it...

you could at least allow me to access it under the 'advanced' option like in earlier days...

( the Host provider has mixed up billing for the 3 SSLs on my site , but all 3 are active and valid SSLs...)

Where is or are your so-called Accessibility, i have followed the so-called procesess to re-cover my e-mail account (boisardfrog@live.co.uk) for more than 3 months!!!!!, microsoft says that it would be due to your"services" 'cos yours services (so-called from either sides) firefox would not reconise E-mail addresses Certificate, ended up like @live.co.uk, where am i....where are you?. i have countless times send "report" to microsoft as to you.....no answers either ways!!!!!!, yes and, if, you or them would ever answers, well are the questions ever again.....with no answers at all either sides,
