Drag and drop multiple emails from Thunderbird to Firefox

Hello, using Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.5965), Firefox 139.0.4, Thunderbird 139.0.2, I can drag multiple emails from Thunderbird but not drop them into Firefox (the stop symbol appears and does not let me finish the action). However, dragging and dropping single emails does work. Firefox does not understand the imap address but the drop is registered which is all that is relevant to me. Is this a bug/missing feature in Firefox or a problem with Thunderbird and Firefox on Windows? Or is there a way to do it by simply adjusting (preferrably very few) settings? Dragging and dropping multiple emails using Thunderbird and Firefox on Linux Mint works fine. Dragging and dropping multiple emails from the Windows Explorer to Firefox also works fine. In testing, the issue only arose using Thunderbird + Firefox, Chromium-based browsers also worked fine with Thunderbird. If this is the wrong forum to ask such a question because this should rather be in a bug tracker or something similar, please let me know. If this should be on the Thunderbird thread instead of Firefox, also let me know. Thank you for your help.

so, basically, if i walk away from my computer for a few hours and firefox is open, I come back to the original window, plus a window for about every hour that i was away. all the new windows are just sitting on the homepage, but this only happens when a keyboard is connected as far as i can tell.

any keyboard by the way, i have now tried it with 12 different ones.(6 different manufacturers at least)

i have tried to refresh firefox, i even went so far as to do the "reinstall but keep my file" thing for windows 11, uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, deleted all the local files, cookies, etc, signing out of my account on the browser, malwarebytes said i didnt have any problems with my system.

I have even tried to figure out how to reset the http and https default to none in windows 11 to attempt to solve this.

the only thing that works so far is to not have a keyboard connected

any help would be great :)

I'm attempting to sync my account between a Windows host and a Linux host. Logging into my account on Linux brings up a "Authorize this sign-in" window that demands entry of a 7-char "Authorization Code" (not the same as a six-digit authentication code) which is emailed to me. After entering the authorization code, a window appears stating "Bad request - Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again." This happens consistently, and only on the Linux host. Firefox 134.0.2 mint-001 1.0. Linux Mint 22.1. Any ideas about what went wrong?

The AI Chatbot bar is seriously useful, I tip my hat to whoever implemented this gem. However, Whenever the sidebar is not wide enough, the chatbot appears to think it's rendering on a mobile device, so the "return" key simply inserts a newline instead of sending the message. I _imagine_ this must be related to the website, but i'm wondering if there are any workarounds? just being able to hit enter in the AI chatbot sidebar instead of click the send button would improve my workflow immensely

I took a look today and I had 237 MB in cookies! This was after clearing the cache of all files. I've only had this (new) machine a couple months.

Short version: Sites have "cookies" from 200kb to as much as 34MB! For many of the sites over 3MB I have no account and have visited them only briefly.

To be clear, I don't care about the space being used. It's trivial. But what the heck is FFox storing and calling it "cookies"? Last I checked, a site was still limited to 4K size cookies and perhaps 50 per domain. So how are we getting to MB+ sized "cookies" per site? Again, the cache was cleared, so what's left aside from trivial cookie files of <4KB?

Again ONLY in FF harbor freight search function breaks when entering a search.

Yes, please don't give me the MS ctrl-alt-del type of response about cookies.... That was done many times before posting this. The website works fine in Brave. MS Edge well, let's not speak of it in public company shall we.

So, now what the heck is happening to FF???? I have contacted HF three times and they referred me to use other browsers other than FF. No, I DO NOT have multiple extensions nor themes. FF is bare bones but for uBlock. Hardware acceleration is off and MS Clear type is on. Anybody wanna fess up, who broke this????
