For the longest time, I was frustrated that Firefox didn't "remember" saved passwords. I finally figured out that there was this toggle that kept Firefox from saving passwords unless I was logged into Firefox. Since I'd already logged into Firefox three times that day (when my Dell gets bogged down, it developes an odd habit of delaying response to my scrolling, and then taking it as a click on the "close" button), I unchecked the box. Tonight, I was looking for something else in my settings, and noticed the "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" was checked. I unchecked it, went back to looking for why Firefox wanted me to sign in when I was just trying to sing into an unrelated site, came back to "Privacy and Security" and "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" was checked again. No matter how many times I uncheck the box, if I click away and come back a few minutes later, it's checked again. Why? I've got to jump through SO many hoops EVERY time I open the browser to use the "save passwords" feature, I may as well not even have the feature and just use my spreadsheet for everything I can't remember.

I have been developing an Angular website that's served on port 4200 on localhost. Up until now it only accepted http connections, but I've now upgraded it to https. Firefox has about 50 credentials remembered for this site and it's always worked fine, but if I go to the https URL, it totally refuses either to show the existing password OR pop up the dialog box to add it for the new URL, so I have to type the password every time. I've disabled all extensions as suggested and it still doesn't work, although for the http URL it still does. I've not added any code on the site to discourage saving credentials. What do you suggest?

Hello. My email account on Firefox that i have is not being saved but my password is when signing into a cruise line company. I have to type my Firefox email address in every time but my password is working. I have both of them saved into your password saved. The weird thing is that if i save email address and password and use Chrome both of them works just fine to sign in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am using Firefox Nightly 136.0a1. I tried visiting the website "leetcode.cn", but it got stuck in an infinite refresh loop. It has been tested that the site can be visited using Edge. I have tried using troubleshoot mode or change my UA, but it just doesn't work.
