My start menu is multi-level and sorted. The latest Firefox (154.0) adds a NEW start menu entry for itself at the "programs" level when launched even though it is already entered at a sub-level. This is a NEW problem since earlier versions did not do this. How can I stop this since it confuses and messes up my start menu. OS - Windows 10 with current patches. Using "Classic Menu" to provide better support for multi-level menus.

before i used top tab out of my browser and my theme i downloaded for the theme section on the browser addons would stay but now every time i do it gose to a horrible blue theme instead how do i fix this to keep my normal theme when im tabbed out please and thanks i stream to i use this to keep chat open and when i tab out to game it goes horrible blue which never used to happen i dont like this and dont want it so someone please help me resolve the issue.

Sorry, I am writing using a translator. Every time I close the browser, all the tabs I haven't pinned get closed. My brother doesn't have this problem. What should I do? Is there a way to stop them from closing every time I restart the browser?

The autocomplete dropdowns for form fields have recently changed appearance, and I strongly prefer the previous, simple design.

The new version has:

• Clock icons next to autocomplete/history entries
• Much more vertical padding, making the list unnecessarily large
• Rounded "pill-shaped" highlighting when hovering over an entry

The previous autocomplete list was much more compact and clean, without the clock icons, excessive padding or rounded hover backgrounds.

Is there currently a setting, `about:config` preference or other supported way to restore the old autocomplete list appearance?

Ideally, I would like to use the previous style:

• No clock icons
• Compact rows with the previous amount of padding
• No rounded/pill-shaped hover effect
• Otherwise retain the existing autocomplete functionality

If there is no setting to restore the old appearance, could an option be added to allow users to choose between the old and new autocomplete UI?

I have a problem with contrast-free Firefox. I cannot see what tab is active what is passive. I tried to get better contrast by changing the theme with those available for Firefox. I have tried at least a dozen of them, but all get the sane destiny. It might take a couple of days or a couple of weeks, it comes. I mean after a short period my applied theme disappears and I get the same standard theme.

August 24, 2026 Sometime during the last month website backgrounds changed to black. I can't see well with black. I did not install colorways. I had things setup as I liked then suddenly everything changed. How do I switch to a lighter background? My desktop background is a custom medium green. I tried enabling a light theme - no success. I've already tried the Windows settings for accessability. All help will be appreciated.

After the last update I keep bein forcefully logged out of my firefox account. And when I manage to log in, my saved passwords are all gone! After restarting firefox I'm logged out again. What's going on?

am experiencing the 'fresh new look' error pages, and am rather annoyed that the raw response code isn't displayed on the initial error page, and must click 'learn more...' to reveal the underlying response code. how can i return the error code to the initial error page and avoid the unnecessary extra click to get at that info?

(ps. i can assure you that by obscuring this basic piece of info, it definitely isn't 'making it clearer what went wrong', despite what the 149.0 patch notes claim)

Has anyone reported this before? I am working as a contractor for a BigTech company. I am using an online platform/tool of theirs for several years now but after a recent update the work area doesn't show scroll bars anymore. That means I cannot scroll the editor window and can't go beyond the first page. This makes working (and earning money) almost impossible. As even for the tiniest edit I have to download huge tasks which is extremely time-consuming. An inquiry with my manager there indicated that other contractors on firefox experience the same issue. so they consider it a firefox compatibility issue of some kind. They gave me the advice to use Chrome, Edge or Safri instead. Well, I use firefox because I do not want to use Chrome/Edge... Don't know about Safari but my PC is on Windows... Any idea what can cause it and how to resolve the issue?

Everything worked fine before I accidentally updated. Before that, I would right click, hit Copy and then I could right click on the desktop or in a folder and hit Paste. Now the Paste option is greyed out, as if nothing was ever copied, even though I can still paste the image into paint, messenger or anywhere else. I don't want workarounds like using "Save as" every time. How do I change it back?

Can not any longer control Trendnet PTZ security cameras thru Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Browser - seeking help have 16 Trendnet cameras - it will cast a lot of $$ to replace them IE explorer compatibility is desired.

It happened again. My firefox must have removed all of my cookies because I had to sign back into all of my regular websites--Youtube, Yahoo email, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This has happened once before. Firefox deleted all the sign in cookies? Not sure what exactly is happening; I only know that I had to sign back into all my regular websites. This seems to be happening every few months now.

Issues since the update to version 154 on Yahoo. Not noticed on Google. Half the time I do a search on yahoo I get the following message.

The server at search.yahoo.com sent back an error: 500 Internal Server Error What can you do about it?

   Check to make sure you’ve typed the website address correctly.
   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

Or I get search results and when I click on the next page of results, I get the same message. Have a couple of times got a blank page with "about:config" which is a duplicate of what happened with version 149 release.

Hi there, I have been using the Firefox browser for many years and had saved all my login passwords to various sites on it and I never had a problem with it. But this time, after installing Windows and the Firefox browser, when I logged into my account and turned on the sync, it did not bring any of my previous information. When I go to my account management page, it writes my membership date at the bottom of the page as of today (2026), while as I mentioned, I have had an account on the Firefox browser for many years. How is it possible that my previous information does not exist and it recognizes me as a new user and what is the solution?!

Why does Mozilla 154.0 always stall after a couple of minutes? It is a hell of a mess. I couldn't place this question without resorting to an older version of Firefox :-[[

Did anybody test V 154.0 anytime, at all?

I unfortunately updated a Windows 10 computer to this version of Firefox.

As such, I cannot provide you with troubleshooting information, because the new browser 154.0 does not work. At. All.

I did all the usual stuff like restarting the computer, the users of Windows OS junk are used to anyway. The Task Manager shows not less than 16 Firefox-processes, with a truckload of memory usage, having opened just one browser tab. Waiting for 20 minutes for firefox to show me the grace of continuing its operation didn't help either.

Any ideas?
