I did not remember having an adobe account. I always used reader.

I have several picture files which will not open. They cover several years. Probably several hundred pictures. They come up as PDF files and do not open when clicked on.

hey, i have an issue with editing my PDF in Firefox's PDF editor, there are some automated boxes to put some text into type in, this is separate from text boxes which is an option on the toolbar instead. when i go to save to PDF, some of this text is cut off and i have no way of making the text smaller. could you please help me out with this? kind regards, josie.

this issue started when firefox just randomly reset my browser a week ago.

whenever i open a pdf in my file explorer, it opens a completely new firefox window under my default-profile. it doesn't open on my currently open/used window.

for context: i have two firefox profiles, 1 for work, and 1 is the default-profile which is "personal"

anyone know a possible solution to this? or why this happened?

Ich weiss nicht, wo ich jetzt noch die Einstellungen ändern kann, damit sich eine PDF Datei nur in Firefox öffnet und nicht automatisch nochmal Acrobat.

I hope this is a simple setting issue. I believe I have tried everything others have recommended.

When I open a PDF I get a black background and a grey block. One for every page in the PDF.

I added some annotations to a PDF using Okular on CachyOS. When I open the PDF in Chromium’s built-in PDF viewer, the annotations appear in the correct positions, just as they do in Okular. I also checked using a few online PDF viewers, and the annotations display correctly there too.

However, when I open the PDF in Firefox, all the annotations appear in different positions than they do in Okular.

Previous to the recent update I was able to click on a hyperlink, it would load then automatically download the pdf and then automatically open in Adobe. Now it just opens in Firefox. I have changed the settings to open downloaded pdfs to Adobe but it still opens in Firefox and does not download. I have tried changing the PDF setting to save automatically and it still does not download or save it just opens in a new tab in Firefox.

When filling forms using the nightly build `148.0a1` on ubuntu 24.04, all date fields seem to default to `mm/dd/yyyy` when I want to use `dd.mm.yyyy`. I cannot seem to find anywhere in firefox settings to change this default, and this makes it impossible to fill some forms correctly (as in the case of e.g. government forms in Germany, only one date format is accepted)

The "Report Broken Site" is grayed out in Firefox. I tried all the fixes offered in Firefox. I checked my data settings in Firefox to make sure that Mozilla was included and could receive data. It downloads the statement instead. I have been able to see the statement online previously, but now I can't. Would like to be able to see it.

I am happy that FF has added great PDF capabilities. I have a problem with signatures. When I add my signature as an image, the result is a very poor resolution / quality signature image. Adobe Reader inserts the signature as a very high resolution / quality image.

Is there any update / solution to this? FYI I am using the same signature image but FF makes it BW and poor quality while Adobe Reader maintains the color and resolution.

Is there a setting in Firefox where any PDF's last read position is saved? If not, will this feature be available in the future? Note: Edge browser has this feature.
