The appearance of search suggestions changes to a bloated and verbose style whenever the window is not maximized.

Observed since update 135 (from 134). Also no custom userChrome.css file is used.

How to keep appreance consistent / compact / normal (in all window-sizes)?

Preferably without a custom userCrhome.css file. I looked through all results on urlbar.quicksuggest in about:config but couldn't figure out any helpful setting.

Hallo, ich habe im Zusammenhang mit dem Übergang zu Windows 11 das Office 2024 Pro installiert. Dabei haben sich zwei Probleme gezeigt: 1. Für das versenden von Links mit Emails habe ich in den Einstellungen "Allgemein" unter "Anwendungen.mailto" das Programm OUTLOOK (classic) in beiden von mir genutzten lokalen Konten zugewiesen. In einem der beiden Konten wird im Gegensatz zu dieser Einstellung immer zu der Aufforderung zur Verbindungsaufnahme mit einem Microsoft-Konto verlangt. Zu einer Anzeige des Outlook-Sendefensters kommt es nicht. Welche Ursache kann es dafür geben und wie kann ich das Problem beheben? 2. Wie in dem beigefügten Bild dargestellt, erscheint bei der Nutzung der mailto-Funktion in beiden lokalen Konten diese Fehlermeldung, die bei normaler Nutzung von Outlook nicht auftritt. Meine Internet-Recherche zu dieser Fehlermeldung hat leider nichts greifbares ergeben. Könnt Ihr mir weiterhelfen? MfG, R. Ziegler.

I'm using Canvas, an educational portal. Every time I click on a PDF, FireFox automatically downloads the PDF to the downloads directory. When I'm not using Canvas, FireFox asks me where to save the PDF. This behavior is very annoying, as I have to perform extra steps to make sure that files are saved to the correct directory.

What setting do I need to check to force FireFox to require all downloads to ask where to be saved.

I had to re-instal Firefox because I had problems with the latest update and now there is no fox icon top left hand corner and no file, etc., so I cannot send email link, print, etc. I would love for someone to assist me.

My Mozilla language is still in mandarin. even i change my region to Pakistan and in language preferences i chooses English US and remove Chinese but still when i search webpage and everything in Mozilla is Chinese language.

I've been experiencing some strange cursor flickering when I have a window on full screen. This only happens on Firefox. Any other app, including other browsers, don't exhibit this behavior.

I've searched around the internet a few times but I haven't been able to find a permanent solution.

The 'light' font weight option in reader view doesn't seem to work for me. All the other options appear to, including swapping between bold and regular, but light just displays as regular regardless of font style. Main FF font settings are all default as well. Couldn't find any other posts with the same issue. Any ideas? Not a huge issue but it is annoying.

He said its down to some update which for some reason I dont have but in the attached image, he is able to add his own wallpaper in nightly but I am not for some reason. Would love some support

Has anyone else noticed that the memory leak issues have gotten way worse since last update?

I work on a potato. Most of the memory is in the windows paging file, on a mechanical hard drive. So freeing up used memory takes longer than it would on a machine with a metric tonne of quad-channel RAM. The past 6 months, Firefox has started having memory leak issues, where it just uses more & more memory until the paging file hits its hard limit and windows kills firefox.

But since last update (135.0 x64), the memory leak issue has worsened significantly.

If I open firefox, and then tab between all current tabs, I get maybe 5 GB of memory usage. So even if all tabs are marked as "active" and loaded into memory, this still isn't enough to cause issues.

But after 30 minutes, that memory usage has ballooned up to >20 GB, at which point windows decides that it needs to free up memory, and kills the process. Which is annoying, because then the browser reverts to the last saved state, meaning many tabs can be lost or reset to several clicks back.

I've tried shaving off extensions, with zero change. I've tried increasing paging file size, but that's just kicking the bucket down the road.

Anyone have a solution to this?
