I been using FireFox for at least a decade I am really disappointed in it's current state. It is very slow OIS is Version 26.6.2 (25G83). Constantly telling me it can't find server when I hit an website link? Also frequently says secure connection? I want my FireFox back.

Warum in Englisch??? Ich lebe in Deutschland, habe mich in Deutschland in "Deutscher Sprache" angemeldet und erwarte dass Firefox dass nicht nur zur Kenntnis nimmt, sondern auch anwendet! Ich will nicht bei jedem Umblättern oder anklicken von Links jedes Mal wieder versuchen eine Deutsche Seite zu erlangen - das ist ätzend und leider auch technisch nicht sehr überzeugend! Auch auf dieser Seite sind die meißten Texte in Englisch -das ist einfach schlecht - wenn ich dem System als Sprache Deutsch angebe, erwarte ich von einem System im 21. Jahrhundert, dass er das nicht nur versteht sondern auch beibehält und auch bei der nächsten Anmeldung in dem Account noch weiß und nicht wieder erneut mit dem "Engisch-Zirkus" beginnt. Leider ist diese Programm gefühlt davon weiter entfernt als Berlin von NewYork! Rainer Wojtenek, 17.9.2026 15:44 PS Leider weiß ich auch nicht, warum ich so viele Accounts habe - z.B. wüsste ich nicht, wieso ich Info1953 eingerichtet haben sollte - das ist "Deutsch audgedrückt" leider alles Mist! Dass ich inzwischen 79 Jahre alt bin ist einerseits schön, andererseits leider sehr anstrengend, da die Anforderungen an einen Account ganz offensichtlich im 21. Jahrhunfert nicht einfacher geworden sind, sondern gefühlt ein Rückschritt in die Steinzeit. Ihnen noch einen schönen Tag...

CTRL + S save location has now automatically changed to the standard 'save files to' folder?

For my work, i have to download a lot of files. Some of them I then have to subsequently save and upload later on. Previously, I was able to download all the files to one folder, and then, if I would have actual need of them, I could just do CTRL + S, give them a name and save them to a different folder. When pressing CTRL + S it would always remember which folder I had saved it in last, but now it automatically keeps going back to the 'saves files to' folder.

This will end up costing me at least an hour a day more because now every time I have to manually switch folders I want to rename and save a file. PLEASE let this go back to the way it was.

Address Bar and Bookmarks bar are broken

I can type in the address bar, but the search box is just showing a magnifying glass and can't be clicked on. None of the tools at the right hand side of the address bar are present, so no star for bookmarks etc... If I type an address in the address bar and hit return/enter, nothing happens at all.

My bookmarks bar is completely blank. (I can still access bookmarks via the hamburger menu though)

Everything was fine yesterday, any ideas please?
