Hi. I'm taking an online course for HVAC certification. Some test questions require to arrange the answers in a logic sequence. When I try to move the answers up or down, they 'snap back' into the original (wrong) position. Is there a solution to this issue? I'm using FireFox with Linux Mint Cinnamon.

Hello, First of all, sorry for my bad english. I'm not a native speaker. I'm running Firefox 153.0 on a W11 PC. I recently encountered some problems when signing into Microsoft.com.

In order to sign in, I need to enter my email adress (duh) and my password before proceeding with 2FA. However, when I submit my password, the login page immediatly sends this error message : Password sign-in isn’t available. Try another method.

I first thought my credentials were wrong. This is not the case since I managed to log in with another browser (Edge, to be more specific). The same message appears whether the password is correct or not. In other words, Microsoft doesn't even bother to check if credentials info are correct.

I encounter the same problem with other Microsoft accounts. I tried to log in with 2 other machines (also running Firefox 153.0) on two different networks with different IPs, and the issue persists. However, when trying to log in from another browser or using a Firefox private window, everything works like a charm.

The problem then seems to come from the " classic " Firefox browsing. Here's what I tried :

• Closing and reopening Firefox and restarting Windows (well, you never know, it could be useful) ;
• Completely clearing cache and browsing data ;
• Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox (so add-ons are not a problem here, and I'm only using uBlock) ;

The issue persists. I'm quite at a loss here.

I regularily log in to my Microsoft account and this issue first occured since the 153.0 update. Any idea ?

I'm not the only one with this problem, at least one other person encountered this issue, confer this reddit post (which is not mine, however I'm one of the commenters).

Hi Team, Firefox on macOS 26.5.2 (not since this version), I use Firefox lates version but it be judged as old version and I always get the messages on Gmail, "このブラウザ バージョンのサポートは終了しました。サポートされているブラウザにアップグレードしてください。", on Facebook "このブラウザーはサポートされなくなりました。快適にご利用いただくため、新しいバージョンにアップデートしてください。" on Instagram "Your browser is no longer supported Please update to a newer version for the best experience", (Sorry, I use in Japanese). And I cannot watch Netflix on Firefox. Why?I'd like to know the reason of this issue, and could you kindly improve that it work normally on macOS? Thank you.

A website I user, www.advisor.ca, displays a banner across the top which obscures some of the text in Firefox but displays correctly in Chrome. The attached images are for the page https://www.advisor.ca/tax/tax-news/court-dismisses-challenge-to-cras-administration-of-cap-gains-tax-proposal/. I expect this is one of those things that Chrome does 'wrong' but I would like to know if there is something I can do to make it display correctly in Firefox, of if FF could handle it in some manner.

I've installed the 10.5.x version of Network on my Ubiquiti Gateway. I now have a problem accessing the gateway. However, this is weird. When on the local network, I can connect directly to it, no problem. Where the problem comes in is when I try to connect to it via unifi.ui.com, the web portal that Unifi Gateways connect to. I've tried a Private Window which is set to not enable any extensions. The results are the same. It will sometimes load part of the page, but never all of it. Before the v10.5.x Network Application update, this was not a problem. I've tried this on both a Windows 10 & Windows 11 computer with the same results. Everything works if I'm not trying to connect via the web portal from the local network. (i.e. If I'm elsewhere or use my cellphone's hot spot, I can connect to my gateway via the web portal without any issues.)

I would blame the Network Application update as the problem if it wasn't for one detail. It does work from the local network if I use MS Edge instead of Firefox. So, I suspect that while there was a change made in this update, there is also something that Firefox is blocking that Edge isn't.

Any ideas?

When I try to enter the VA site (https://www.va.gov/my-health) it never opens (see attachment). I use my back-up browse (Microsoft Edge) and I can enter the site. Can you help?

"Recent changes in how some corporate web sites react to FireFox such as not show the header menues and other function reduction in the last three weeks. YET Chrome and google still function like normal. Is this an attack on Linux supported browsers? " I contacted United Health Care (UHC) regarding their menu disappearance and treated it like error on my end until I discussed doing their recommend fixes and the only ones that worked are going to other Google or Micro-Soft supported browsers. FireFox was working fine until three weeks ago. What's up, is it FireFox or UHC?

Firefox 152.0.6

1. I go to X.com and am presented with the logon screen and the option to logon using Email or Username, Phone, Google and Apple.

2. Try entering my email address in the logon screen and get a red ! error: "Please enter a username, email, or phone number."

3. Try entering my username in the logon screen and get a red ! error: "Please enter a username, email, or phone number."

4. Try using the Google option and it performs as if I was logged in but the system never leaves the logon screen.

5. Try using the Phone option and enter my phone number and get a red ! error: "Something went wrong. Please try again."

6. Delete all history, cookies, etc. Restart Firefox. Same issues as above.

7. I disable all Extensions and restart Firefox. Same issues as above.

8. I try a Private window and am able to log in just fine.

I am at a loss here on how to proceed. This is happening on two individual systems in my home both running the same version of Firefox.

I have a few websites that are consistently unable to load or give out shortly after they do. The two websites I have the greatest issues with are kingarthurbaking.com and Pinterest. Both can load fine on other browers. I am running Windows 11 25H2.

Steps I have taken thus far that did not resolve: Clearing all cache and cookies Setting both "always block" and "always allow" cookies for the sites in question Disabling all extensions Running Firefox in troubleshooting mode Disabling hardware acceleration on Firefox and Windows Refreshing Firefox Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox Screwing around with network.http.max-connections (a hail mary suggestion from a 2011 article)

Clearing all browsing history will let Pinterest load, but I can't search or navigate from the main page without encountering another infinite load and I can't scroll down far before images stop loading. I'm not fond of clearing my entire browser history every time I want to load anything in Pinterest or on King Arthur. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

after the last Firefox update the zynga game Farmville 2 will not load. It gives me a screen to fix mentioning chrome..but all efforts to manually fix referencing Firefox have failed. Odd that I can load the plain Zyngagames.com on Edge but it seems they too only load a "local" game that is not connected to any network. Help also mentions to make sure I allow to redirect but that "Options" feature to do so is not there. In fact it seems like the Firefox menu system is even much different and expanded. I will add the screens I have tried etc. Pop ups are allowed, turned off enhanced etc. but cannot find any reference to "third party redirects" Any suggestions are appreciated.

When copying from an outside tab then use paste value only into a Google Sheets tab, whether using shortcut or the drop down menu, it seems to first paste properly then show a "paste" dialog box that couldn't be removed. Any other input seems to paste again, taking from the last copy before the current one. Copying from another Google Sheets tab seems to have the same result but instead of the dialog box, it double paste, as described previously, immediately. Testing in Chrome seems to work as usual and clearing the cache has not help. Issues seems to arise since the latest update to Firefox.

Hi, ITVX is advising me yo update my browser but when I check Firefox it says it is up to date. As it is no browser, including Safari or Google Chrome seems to work. My computer is admittedly old (10.13.6) but should this mean that the browsers no longer work? Thank you in advance

When I login to Google, I'm usually asked to do more than 1 catcha. Sometimes, they continue until I can't do any more and use Google Chrome. I have poor eyesight, and this is getting very annoying.

My Firefox browser (nightly snap 154.0a1 on Ubuntu 24.04) has been misbehaving lately (~2 weeks now) and I'm at a loss why.

First, when I scroll using the mouse wheel, the scrollbar continuously shoots back to the top constantly during scrolling.

Second, when I type text in a Google box and hit enter key, it drops to the next line - like one would expect in a text processing application.

Third, when on YouTube, trying to rewind/forward video instead starts navigating to clickable links. Of particular note (see the attached screenshots) is the appearance of text (such as "Skip navigation" and "Volume" to name a few) - something I've never seen before.

This happens with a new profile as well.

Now, I know that nightly will sometimes have broken items but this is a weird one. I at one time thought the batteries on my wireless keyboard could be responsible but new batteries (confirmed new with a digital multimeter) did not change that.

I'm on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS fully patched. Anyone here with ideas on what it might be?

My javascript cannot detect the difference beween closing a new preferences tab and a new non domain tab. I believe this is for security reasons. This leads to one of my custom messages popping up when closing a non domain tab, which is not standard behavour on other websites on FireFox. If the user does or does not follow the popup instructions everything works fine. My question is: does this disqualify my website from being posted to the internet for FireFox browsing, or is it tolerable to users and to Mozilla? I have intentionally left out of this post technical information about my javascript. Believe me, I have tried countless ways to code my way out of this situation but due to Firefox's strong security measures, it is impossible. I should mention that perhaps if my script was an addon I would have accesss to the TAbs API which might offer a solution. The purpose of the script is to update the website to changes to the default Browser Zoom Level as found in the prefererence settings. Does anyone know if this purpose is compatible with FireFox Addon developement?Thanks so much for directing me to informed assistance. I hope the post is not "TMI"!!

I cannot access my Yahoo email account currently on desktop computer, using Windows 7 Pro and Firefox 115.37.0esr. The Select Verification Method window appears but the cursor changes from an active hand to just the regular cursor shape and nothing will be active in the window. This isnt a problem on my phone or when using Chrome on the same desktop. Is there any chance of resolving this with these versions of Windows and Firefox?
