Hello,

I have a subscription to Mozilla VPN that I no longer use. I signed up with a proton mail address to which I no longer have access (no recovery information). I would like to cancel my subscription.

I have my bank statements showing that i pay 9.99 to Mozilla every month.

What can I do?

I use the DeepL translation app in Firefox on my Mac Mini M4 (OS 27.0.1). The app has an audio button to hear the written translation. When I use this feature, there's a loud pop at the end of the translation. This doesn't happen in the standalone app on my Mac. There are no audio/video devices connected to my Mac; the audio is from the Mini. All systems are updated.

So MANY times I see this warning!......

Then I have to close everything out and start allover. I have cleared my browsing history, cleared all cookies and everything else possible,turned off my desktop, unplugged it and pressed the power button just to browse a few more minutes before that message pops up again. I have even goe so far as to unplug my modem, and router for 20 minutes. My desktop is hard wired to the internet.

Updated Firefox browser for desktop on Mac to 158.0 on 10/15/26

On 10/14/26 using previous Firefox version 157.0 on Amazon.com Prime Video section, pages would load properly and videos could be played properly.

10/15/26 using updated version on Amazon.com Prime Video section, page would initially load properly only to later freeze. Videos could not be played. And freezing could not be corrected unless closing the tab on the browser.

10/15/26 using Safari browser on Amazon.com Prime video section, pages loaded properly and videos played properly.

Clearing cache and site data on updated version of Firefox did not have any effect. Pages continued to freeze and videos unplayable when starting over and navigating to the relevant pages.

Steps to reproduce:

go to amazon.com login to account go to prime video page

expected results video selection appears and user can select and play videos

actual result video selection appear but freezes after a second or two,. videos cannot be played

I have a APC UPS and the software provides status information on localhost 6547. For the last 9 months since I got this UPS this has not ever been an issue, but for the last three days I keep getting an error message when the APC software tries to open a tab in Firefox. The error message is "Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with localhost:6547".

How do I make an exception for the APC software so I don't have to authorize Firefox to open the tab every time I want to look at status information for the APC UPS now?

I sometimes experience issues when accessing web-based email services through Firefox and want to understand whether browser settings or extensions could affect them. When using a bulk email service provider such as iDealSMTP, what Firefox settings should users check to troubleshoot email-related issues? Have you experienced similar problems when accessing a bulk email service provider through Firefox?

This is the 2nd issue arising from a v158.0.1 update disaster. FF won't print a page: it seems to start, and then blanks the screen, returns to windows wallpaper. the printer stirs but prints nothing. The printer tested OK from the windows test page. As recommended in the fix suggestions, I tried the clear printer option in troubleshooting, but that does not work. How do I fix this??

This category seemed the most appropriate from the list. Bookmarks are the first of 2 issues I need help with.

On my first start after upgrading to v158, all my bookmarks are missing, normally shown in a sidebar. All the suggested means of getting bookmarks back via a profile simply did not work: the restore panel asks for a file and all the various bookmarks in a profile are in a folder. the 2 did not mix. I do have exported bookmarks as a json file, but obviously it's hidden for FF, but not for explorer. Nothing recommended in the articles worked. In frustration, I removed the software and downloaded a new copy. Same issues applied. I copied the latest json file to the desktop, and restored it from there. AND after a restart, there were none of those bookmarks on the browser page. BUT selecting managing bookmarks and there they all are.

So how do I get the bookmarks from the management page to the normal user interface??

When I try to open Firefox browser, it keeps giving an error message stating that the browser is already running. I've tried to clear cache and other recommendations that were provided, without any success. I am unable to even get on the landing page of Firefox, the one time that I managed, all my shortcuts were missing!

How about moving the pop up away from the original text, so we can see both at once?

Or show the original text in the popup as well? It really helps to be able to see both at once.

Otherwise, it's a bit of a hassle to use.
