I see that back in 2015, @JSCHER2000 had a useful suggestion for manually syncing tab groups. See: [https://support.mozilla.org/mk/questi.../1053367]

Unfortunately, 11 years later, the option mentioned (to open a tab in a tab group, and right click, and choose "Bookmark all tabs") does NOT exist in current versions.

The extension "Tab Group Syncer" was mentioned elsewhere, and I tried it, but it appears that FF 154 has more security, and it can only see the ONE local device on the home network (itself), and NOT the laptop.

This means that currently, the usefulness of the Tab Groups is reduced a lot. In my use case, I frequently switch between the laptop and desktop, as my wife uses the laptop for most of her email/shopping/online ordering.

As you will see, this 1 year old request is waiting on comment #2, and the discussion document is NOT public anymore. If any other users want this, I would urge you to open a BUGZILLA account, add your email to the notification list, and use the VOTE button to upvote it. NOTE: the voting UI is a bit clunky: You click the VOTE box, then you get a list (or just the one if you have only voted for this one), then you tick the box to vote, THEN click BACK arrow at the top of the browser, then click on the Refresh circle. You should then see your vote become visible.

Also note that if you want to be emailed about changes that, or ANY BUG in the Bugzilla site, then go to the bottom of its page, and click in the "email me" box, then click "Save Changes".

First post. Not really a question.

I noticed last week that some pages didn't load, and Activity monitor showing Firefox app using 170-180% which I know is way too high. Forgot to check memory usage.

I rolled back from 154 to 153 by restoring it from backup, and same with the Firefox folder in ~lib/appsupp/, relaunched Firefox and cpu was back to 2-4% cpu with a couple of windows and tabs. I've turned off auto-updates.

On my system, something is wrong with v154.

Mac Mini M4 Pro 12-core 24/512, macOS 15.7.5.

Anyone succeed with running Firefox in headless mode under Ubuntu?

I tried:

firefox --headless --safe-mode -P headless https://quan.hoabinh.vn

but got this error:

I installed Firefox as from "https://packages.mozilla.org/apt" repo.

I have the VPN symbol in the upper right corner of my computer screen and have activated several times in the past when the circle turned green. The inactive form is still there, but it will not turn green when the pointer of my mouse is on it? What is wrong?

I have been receiving the following error message on Firefox for a few weeks. I can access my emails, but not other websites. I have reloaded Firefox and rebooted the computer multiple times, and the error message continues. I have not changed any of the computer settings that I am aware of. The error message is:

Given the frequency of computer scams, I have not gone to any of the websites mentioned. How do I remove this from my computer, whether it is a scam or not? I have been using Apple Safari as my search engine in the interim

I've added my Firefox to a new computer and signed into my account. Cannot find my bookmarks. The only option I see is to import them from another browser (which does not have them). How can I retrieve them?

Google Maps displays black map tiles in Firefox, while it works normally in other browsers. The issue persists after disabling extensions, testing Troubleshoot Mode, clearing the graphics cache, resetting graphics preferences, and testing a new Firefox profile. Firefox version: [version]. On some sites the popup to change cookie settings is not opening properly I have tried disabling all extensions or browser guards like malwarebytes but stiil not working. Everything works using a different browser.

Just since last few days, Firefox seems to think that I'm in NL, but I'm in UK. This doesn't happen in Chrome or Edge. My IP is also in UK. I'm not using a proxy or VPN. Suggestions to fix please.

Using Win 10. Desktop. Firefox is up to date. Problem happens even when all extensions disabled.

Every time I open Firefox it starts with a single blank page. This is fine, it is set to open new pages with a blank page but I also have have the [Open previous windows and tabs] ticked too and it never remembers.

Menu bar's [History] > [Restore Previous History] is greyed out.

Simultaneously, though not necessarily related, I am unable to pay for anything using my eBay balance.

As of Aug 23rd, Firefox no longer connects to the internet (not site-specific) with this message: Unable to Connect. All other browsers work with fast loads. FF has been incredibly slow loading pages for weeks now but it would eventually connect until today. It is not a network/firewall issue as I've checked to make sure all was set correctly. I have cleared cache, turned VPN off, refreshed app, uninstalled/reinstalled and nothing has changed.

If I find the same tomorrow, I will just have to stop using altogether and choose another default browser as there is no point in a browser that is slow and unreliable. It's a shame since I've been using FF for many, many years.

I'm experiencing continuous screen blackouts or glitches. These are unaffected by the site I'm on and only occur for Firefox browser. When I switch a tab or click a button the browser blacks out and becomes unresponsive then comes back on after a few seconds. This happens repeatedly. Clearing the cache, running a repair, and uninstalling / reinstalling the app have had no affect on it.

Since I updated to Firefox v154 (on Windows 11 w/latest updates) Substack videos freeze at random times 15-30 minutes into playback (never right away). If I close the tab and reuse the original link, playback resumes more at less where it froze, but this is very annoying and happens almost every video. Other online videos (e.g. YouTube) don't seem to have this problem -- but I rarely watch hour-long videos outside of Substack, so I can't confirm that the problem doesn't exist elsewhere. This only seems to occur after streaming 15+ minutes so probably a subtle bug.
