Firefox keeps asking me if I want to save an address that I entered in a contact and I can't get it to stop. It doesn't have NEVER as a choice. I tried saving it and it went in my autofill, but I don't want it there. I deleted it and then it started asking me if I want to save it again. HELP!

Hi This is the 3rd time I am making this inquiry. I have firefox across multiple macbooks, ipads and iphones. The sync feature is unable to sync/save password across devices. If I save a PW on one device, even if I force all the devices Firefox to force sync, nothing shows up on the other devices. Please advise...

I updated my password but now when I go to sign in (since an updated password signs out on all accounts) it won't stay signed in ever on my laptop. I input the password, then the email confirmation, then the authentication, and it says I'm signed in but when I go to my account is disconnected again. I've tried many times. I've also cleared the cookies and cache. Any advice?

I was trying to download ledger live from an official site when I noticed Firefox had twice tried and failed to download an old version of the tor browser I downloaded a long time ago.

A few hours before this happened my pc froze for a minute.

I'm not sure if I have malware on my device or if this is Firefox acting up. My antivirus scan shows nothing.

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. I set up a custom search extension and am trying to use 'z' as the keyword.

It doesn't work. If I use anything else, it works fine, I just can't use 'z'.

Since I use 'z' in Chrome, I'd like to keep it consistent.

I don't see any other search engines using that keyword.

Is there something I'm missing here? Why can't I seem to use 'z' as a search engine keyword?

Under Privacy and Security, Version 128.0 deleted the radio box allowing us to Clear History excepting Current Logins. Will my current email login now be deleted when I use the Clear History function?

I have been using FF for years and now they have changed by adding a Search DDG bar in the menu bar. I use the customize menu/tool bar to add things I use daily. The Search bar For DDG takes uo the room for customized icons and are displaced by this search bar. Why can't we change this as a search bar above the menu bar???

Several commands do not have corresponding keybindings. In particular, the ones I'm interested in are "Go one word to the left/right" as shown in the attached image.

Is there a reason why these are left out? Firefox is the only program on MacOS, that I have encountered, where it is impossible to have the caret skip words forward/backwards.

I can use Karabiner-Elements to fix whatever weirdness might exist, but not if Firefox has no way to actually trigger that command, nor a way to rebind keys in order to do so either.

Maybe I've missed something obvious.

PS: Writing this was annoying, exactly for the reason explained. The weird thing is that CTRL+backspace is the only "make key X operate on a whole word instead of a single character" that actually works. For example, "backspace" removes a single character in text edit fields. "ctrl+backspace" would remove the whole word.

PPS: I don't care too much if the modifier key is CTRL or CMD. I can rebind that. I just need it to either be *something*, or that one can set it to *something.

Hello. I was browsing for something on Amazon and I noticed this annoying icon in my search bar as well as a popup asking me to enable some new feature called "Review Checker". I have clicked close, and it appeared again. Then I clicked Not Now. Still I wasn't sure it's completely disabled because the icon in the search bar wasn't gone. I've done extensive search on how to properly disable this feature but I couldn't find a working solution.

Accordingly, I've set browser.shopping.experience2023, browser.shopping.experience2023.ads.enabled, and browser.shopping.experience2023.enabled to FALSE. I restarted Firefox. However, once I got to the product page on Amazon, I still see the Review Checker button in my search bar. This feels like a bug. Should I submit a bug ticket or is there a way to make it disappear for good?

I am trying to use Firefox secure passwords. I can create a secure password, update it when asked, but it doesn't autofill the password when I try to log in. I have the "Autofill User Name and Passwords" box checked in Firefox Preferences. I am on a MacBook Air using Firefox.

I recently noticed some strange text formatting issues on [[Next Level Gaming Store|https://nextlevelgamingstore.net/]] while browsing with Firefox. Specifically, the descriptions for some of the game assets seem to be jumbled or overlapping in weird ways. It makes it hard to read what each asset actually offers.

I've cleared my cache and tried a different browser (Chrome), and everything looks fine there. So, it seems to be a Firefox-specific issue.

Anyone else encountered this on Next Level Gaming Store with Firefox? Maybe there's a setting I can tweak to fix the formatting?

I moved the downloads folder via File Explorer to OneDrive. So now it's like this:

c:\users\[username]\OneDrive\Downloads

But Firefox keeps wanting to save files to the original location:

c:\users\[username]\Downloads

All other apps seem to respect this setting other than Firefox. Any ideas?

FF 128 on Windows 11 23H2.
