Two local home improvement store websites are denying access to searching or logging on to an account with them. I have cleared cash and removed cookies and that sort of thing but I have yet to change browsers... Should I do that?

Probably nothing, since it’s likely there’s a problem with the site itself.

The site is ok when I open on another window and even on Google which I don't like.

I cannot get the bookmarks toolbar to show "Other Bookmarks" on the right end of the toolbar. When I right click on the toolbar, the option to "Show Other Bookmarks" is greyed out.

I completely uninstalled Firefox, deleting all residual files and registry keys, then reinstalled the software, and it hasn't fixed my issue.

I cannot find any support forums or articles that have provided a solution.

Here is the message I get when trying to access Kroger's website (and a few others). Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.kroger.com/" on this server.

This does not happen when I use edge. I have tried numerous fixes that I have found on line but none have worked. I

I am having trouble signing into some of my web sites. This problem just started. I have tried everything even uninstall and re-install. Nothing works. What do I need to do?

Can't enter text into body of post, ghosted (title allows me to type) on select sites (Kodi.tv). Changed to Chrome no issue. win10/64/FF 148

Strangeness... seem to be able to type post title, but not message body in all the forum threads. trying to post gives me an error and I am loggged in. Just re-installed Firefox.. no issues on other sites, the text body is ghosted... but not the title bar. At this point;  I'm locked out of messaging in the forum. (edited)

I love Firefox and NEVER use Safari. I thought something had happened to my MacBook Air, stuck space bar or maybe even a virus? BUT the space bar issue doesn't occur when I use Safari. The issue is this: I will use Firefox (for everything). All of a sudden, the space bar becomes "engaged" and my text starts scooting across with spaces between it. I can hear it "stutter" a sharp sound each time it lurches along. I can then open up a word doc and the thing follows me there. Or when trying to close an unsaved word doc to prep for closing the computer. I restart the computer and to begin with, the spacebar issue is resolved but before long (sooner and sooner) it begins again to the point that I am restarting my computer now within about five minutes. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox to no avail. BUT, I can use other programs without problem as long as the problem hasn't already begun again, via Firefox. What on earth? I am now stuck using Safari... I have the most recent Firefox installed. I just re-installed the program a second time, yesterday. I don't want to open the program or I'll end up turning it off and on again and lose all of this but it was updated as of yesterday but I keep up on all the updates, all the time. It's been going on...about 4 weeks? But it started with occurring maybe once a week, then once a couple days now to the place it is multiple times to constant, during a day. I cannot use Firefox until this is resolved. Thank you for whatever help you can offer. I've run the diagnostic /first aid stuff to no avail through my utilities.

Attempted to update FF using the 140.2.0esr.msi file. During install it asked for a location of bookmarks (seemed off, like a new install) so the process was stopped. All FF profile files appeared to have been untouched based on their dates. So the following directories: \AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\oeg1ubpo.default-esr \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\oeg1ubpo.default-esr where both copied to a secondary directory as a safety precaution. Install was restarted and it appears to have again installed a new version with no bookmarks, extensions or password DB carried forward from the previous install, which is not what I wanted.

Can this be corrected, by moving the copied profile back in.
