I have a Firefox icon on my Windows11 desktop, Start, and one on the taskbar. If I click one either the Firefox icon on the desktop or Start I will get another icon on the task bar and I can do this over and over on my personal desktop getting many Firefox icons.

I just purchased a new Dell Windows11 desktop and have installed Firefox. I set it up just like my personal desktop and have icons on the desktop, Start, and taskbar but every time I click the Firefox desktop or Start icon I don't get a separate icon in the taskbar but they pile up behind the original Firefox on the taskbar. If the cursor hovers over the Firefox icon then I can see the multiple Firefox homepages that I generated.

I have searched for an answer to this problem but have been unsuccessful. I would really appreciate some thoughts on this issue. Firefox has been my one and only browser for many years and I love it 99% of the time, just not this one time. :-) Thank you in advance. Chuck Hall

I beg of you, please do not go forward with the AI focused policies. AI as it currently stands is a rapidly sinking ship that a LOT of consumers hate, and that group is coincidentally the group that most frequently uses Firefox. By pushing forward AI-first policies, you are alienating your userbase, destroying the privacy and usability that makes Firefox special, and you're upsetting millions of people that love this service. Please, for the love of god, DON'T GO FORWARD WITH AI. Stick to what makes Firefox special, and it will flourish as every other browser becomes more and more unusable.

Hello! See the screenshot please: so, I downloaded à pay-bill, with Firefox (under ubuntu), in private navigation, and I get the file with a padlock-symbol at the end. What means that? What means that for me (on my computer), what means that for à friend, when I sent him the pdt-file (can he open it?). Nota: I understood that I can choose between "delete downloads when closing the privat window" or not. And I choosed not to delete them (but there appears this padlock-symbol). Thanks for your help! im having issues with my tabs as there are now two sets of tabs one that is empty basically and seems to be treated as the main one and the other that is all my other tabs... but when i try to switch to them it switches my screen so other apps like games or messaging apps no longer are visible yet the still appear to exist

My computer is new and I was told the soft ware problem I have is with firefox/ mozilla. Most of my pogo games are working fine , but there are a few I can't play using firefox. If i use EDGE I have no problems, all my games in pogo work fine. Please fix the problem. Thanks

I have 3 tab groups and a few tabs ungrouped.

When I close the browser then open it, all tabs open but there are no tab groups. I tap the down arrow top right, then tap each group name. Then, I have to add each tab to the group they were in before closing the browser. (then tap 'Close all duplicate tabs)

Why do I keep having to do what's in bold, every time I reopen the browser? Will this be fixed?

I don't have any enabled tab-related extensions except Tab Session Manager, which I need.

I reinstalled Windows. Installed The last version of Firefox and logged into my account. But there weren't any of my previous settings (extensions, bookmarks, history etc.). What happened with them?

Particularly on US news sites, inline / spot videos still auto-play despite the FF preference set to block audio and video. Mercifully, audio isn't playing. This seems to be a fairly recent problem since the last couple / few updates; not really certain.

Please create a new version of the browser app that supports the ability to use FileSystemAPI on directories, this is essential for working with a BeatBuddy project and SD cards that are saved on my computer using the online editor. Regards, Guy James

Whenever I am shopping online on my Macbook (MacOS Sierra 15.7.2) Firefox will begin to freeze and then hang on the checkout page. I notice this happens most often with Shop/Shopify websites. Can someone help? This behavior seemed to begin this year about 6 months ago. I end up having to go Safari and reload my page, find the items again, and then I can check out. So problem is something about Firefox and my machine.

Why does Firefox's hardware usage, especially memory (RAM) and battery consumption, have to be so high that the laptop fan noise causes a lot of noise in the environment? Windows 11 25H2
