Firefox stopped working properly this morning. whenever i try and open a new tab firefox tries to get me to setup sync instead of going to the new website. I turned off sync. I do not want to sync with anything at this time. How can i get firefox to work again?

I've just switched to Fedora 43 KDE plasma from Windows. On Windows, everything was totally find with videos on Firefox. After migration I kept having an error message "The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support." not only on one site (else it could have been the site). After searching for solution here and on the Net, I found out that it's not related to Fedora but to Firefox when using Radeon RX7700XT on Linux (idem with several distros). And indeed, when installing other browser and testing them there was no problem, even with LibreWolf. So can you please take action as I like Firefox and I would not like to have to move everything to an other browser. And it seems that this problem has been around for at least two years ... which you should be ashamed of.

Ever since the last Mozilla update several of my financial institutions or bill payment sites keep coming up with security certificates warning screen. Is this a known issue and will it be fixed?

Whenever I go to YouTube, there is a green download button, YouTube blocks whole page goes dark. No issue using Brave or other browsers. I use when trying to download a clip I'd like to keep watching to learn, without all the wasted overpriced data I disable the extensions apps I think relevant, then refresh, no change, disable popup blockers like Ghostery & Adblock plus, refresh, still no change.

Using Windows 10 pro on Desktop, 64bit, internet is fibre optic as fast for rural, 16Gb RAM, 7TB Separate HDD's. Reasonably comfortable with pc use Been present for last couple of weeks, use other bought programs to download but unable to view prior on Mozilla, but works fine on other browsers

Don't really have too much to say just needed help on understanding how these extension things work because I am not familiar with them at all I've just learned about him not even two weeks because I bought Chromebook and that's the first time I've ever seen them so I have no idea I don't even how to even activate them I read every single before downloading it but I'm still not understanding on how to even use it or even start to use it I have autism so I don't understand new things as well as others so I need extra help but by the time I know and know how to you know you all this I'd be able to help others after I learn how to you know do it because when I learn about anything new I get obsessed subs and I started learning everything about it

How can I tell Firefox to automatically set the volume to 2 or 3, and not play every video in every window full blast - which is maddening when I'm using Facebook and every video I click BLASTS! the sound WAY, WAY louder than any other devices I have outputting sound, such as Spotify music.

Firefox 147.0.4 (aarch64) "hangs" for 30 seconds to 1 minute when I launch it on my MacBookPro (OS Tahoe.26.3). Itwon't open the simple web page I have Firefox set to open when it launches -- and I can't navigate to any other web pages. When I try to interrupt, I get an Apple spinning beach ball until finally, Firefox opens that first page.

After working with Apple tech support, I have disabled a number of content barrier Extensions in Firefox-- which Apple tech support felt might have been causing this behavior. Nothing works. And I hesitate to run Firefox without some of them.

I tried deleting my Firefox user profile from my computer, but all that did was prevent Firefox from opening at all.

How can I stop this?

I get all other websites and I used to access couchmanagers.com on Firefox. But recently on about 90% of the clicks to this site I do NOT receive the "Current Auction" and "Chat" pages. What can I do to resolve this issue other than use another Browser. This site works fine on my Fire Tablet and everyone else computers and tablets.

Both the menu and the taskbar are not available since the latest update a few days ago. I've searched all options in Firefox settings with no luck in finding a solution. Help would be appreciated as this is extremely annoying and working around it wastes a whole lot of time.

Hover Tab in Style section in Elementor does not work in Mozilla Firefox! It works in Chrome and Opera, but I work in Mozilla Firefox. Many other users complain about this in Internet. When will you fix this bug?

Last night I decided I'd get rid of the little triangle on my id icon telling me my account is disconnected. I succeeded getting rid of it, but it screwed up my url for my homepage. Now when I try to set my homepage (c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg) I get this message: file:///c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg " The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (cfile) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context."

How do I get rid of this, and how do I set up my homepage? It's been set the same way for over 10 years until last night. It's very frustrating that there's no explanation.

After being able to view Netflix content on Firefox for, well, a long time, today I encountered audio with no video. Only a black screen. I contacted Netflix and they're telling me that Firefox needs updating - we tested Safari and it was able to play the entire content, video and audio. I checked Firefox and the info states the browser is up to date. I should add I'm on a Macbook Pro. The quality on Safari was not as good as Firefox has been so I would prefer not to have to use a second browser for one task. Can anyone provide some information on this situation?

I just learnt that my internet provider is blocking some domain like web.telegram.org which is very annoying. The solution i found on internet is vpn or tor browser.

Am i expecting something from firefox that it cant help me with?

A free vpn or tor browser like functionality?

On macOS, I set System Settings -> Desktop & Dock -> "Double-click a window's title bar" to "Fill".

In Firefox, double-clicking the window title bar does nothing. If I change the macOS setting to "Zoom", double-click works correctly in Firefox doing Zoom effect.

I confirmed that other applications respond correctly to the "Fill" setting.

Environment: - macOS version: 26.3 - Firefox version: 147.0.4 (aarch64)
