When I open Firefox, the master pw window opens with data showing. I can x out of the window & continue. So my data is exposed to anyone who hacks into my desktop PC. WIN 11 64-bit. Please help.

I switched my default search engine from Google to Bing. As you can see in the attached screenshot, it should be searching with Bing. But for some reason the search results are always Google. How do I fix this? I haven't refreshed Firefox yet. I was hoping to avoid that.

I cannot access an account anymore due to the fact that I lost access to 2FA. I kindly request that account to be deleted.

On Twitch, my scroll bar stopped loading correctly on one of my computers. The scroll bar should be slim but it's loading the full sized bar causing the menu to look wrong.

I've tried loading firework in troubleshoot mode and it still isn't loading correctly. Works on my laptop synced with my account.

Anyone have a clue what is happening?

Every time I access the web I get a report from Norton saying "Threat secured". It attaches every single website that I open. See attachment for some exmaples (only variabole part of message shown apart from first one).This is occuring 50+ times a day but does not occur using Edge, so it appears to be related to Firefox. Hi, I recently authorised an update and now how lost all my GUI data > my bookmarks and tabs, passwords and history too. I had to reinstall Firefox through Edge on my Windows 10 laptop because of the update which froze the system. Can you help me to access this valuable information and let me continue with the best browser I have been using for over a decade please? Why have I lost my data? Thank you in advance.

When i have several Firefox windows open and then minimize all of them, They will not maximize unless I open a new Firefox window and keep it up. If I minimize it it joins the other window in refusing to open back up. What is happening here?

For about a week now, clicking the picture-in-picture icon in a video stream doesn't display the video in a small window, but instead switches to full-screen mode. How can I change this? Picture-in picture icon mode is enabled in the settings; otherwise, you wouldn't see the icon. Thanks for help.

I was trying to setup 2FA on my Mozilla account on Firefox pc browser (140 version). The process completes without issues with Aegis authenticator app, I download the backup codes and I even get the email confirming the recovery phone number was added. On the Mozilla accounts page 2FA turns to enabled. (I'm on Windows11 with latest Firefox browser version)

However after a simple refresh, it turns back to disabled. I repeated the process and same thing happens. Same even on Firefox Android. What could be the issue here?

Hello everyone, I run into a problem setting up my new mini PC, Geekom A6. I downloaded Firefox as usual from https://www.firefox.com/de/. I started the installation, and everything went through perfectly fine. When I expected that Firefox would start, only the Profile Manager started. What I already tried to fix it:

• Run Firefox as Admin -> nothing changed
• Rename profiles ini -> nothing changed; ini was not newly created.
• Manually create the Profiles folder. That actually let me start the wizard but would end in this failure message:

"Profile couldn’t be created. Probably the chosen folder isn’t writable. [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) [nsIToolkitProfileService.createProfile]" nsresult: "0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://mozapps/content/profile/createProfileWizard.js :: onFinish :: line 250" data: no]" I gave this folder every access right for everyone, but still the same error. I tried to choose a custom folder, which worked (once in Document and once in C:/Firefox/Profile). But when I wanted to start Firefox, this error came: "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved." and the option to restart Firefox. When I do so, I am once again back at the Firefox profile selection (but the previously created profile is not visible to select).

• Use an older installer of Firefox -> I tried 1.40, 1.39, and 1.38, but the same problem everywhere.
• Using winget but that led to the same error.
• Starting firefox in save mode (firefox -safe-mode) also leads to Profile Manager

I am using the latest Windows 11 24H2 and drivers are up to date.

I hope you can help me using Firefox on this device.

I'm reading on https://beginningaftertheendmanga.org and there's an extra white space between all of the images which is obviously not supposed to be there. Inspecting the page source shows that there are
tags between all of the images to make them stack vertically. Is there a way to remove the white space introduced by these line breaks?

I've tried switching firefox to compact mode, but it didn't help.

I am using FF desktop. All of a sudden, I get no sound through my laptop speakers when trying to watch videos (on YT and FB for example). I still get sound if I use external speakers through the 3.5" jack. I still get sound through other browsers, no matter if it's through the laptop speakers or external ones. So, it is definitely an FF problem. Sound works fine on all other media files on the laptop. Refreshing FF didn't fix it. Nor did reinstalling or restarting the laptop. I tried changing the autoplay settings as suggested in the help article, but still no laptop audio via FF. How can I fix this? Thanks

Во время навигации youtube на главной странице если просто НАВЕСТИ мышкой на "На предыдущую страницу (Alt+Влево)" то ИНОГДА играет непонятная музыка или какой-то непонятный ролик, который я НЕ ВКЛЮЧАЛ. Важно: самого видео этого неизвестного ролика нет, играет просто звук. Другие вкладки браузера закрыты, открыта только вкладка youtube. Использую firefox esr, так как у меня виндовс 7, использую свежую версию firefox esr. Расширения, которые установлены - Ublock origin и uvpn. Не знаю, мог ли подхватить неизвестный вирус? Просканировал ESET, потом поставил антивирус comodo - все чисто по мнению данных антивирусных проверок, но вот проблема не решилась. Очень хотел бы, чтобы вы разобрались с этим вопросом.
