I had to do an OS reset on my Dell Inspiron 17 3000. This deleted all my data files. A computer repair shop used Recuvr to recover my lost data. All of the recovered files (not just the Firefox files) are in a single folder on my desktop. I would like to know how to import them to the newly installed Firefox. Thank you very much.

To set the tone, I hate smartphones.

My computer just died, meaning now everything must be done on this dratted device. It's a Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, and I can't even find what software I am running, although my last system update was 7/1, and I autoupdate Firefox.

I cannot log into Walmart on this thing. I put in my e-mail, but instead of asking for my password, it takes me to Walmart's home page. This happens repeatedly. I feel strongly about not using corporate apps, so I don't want to install Walmart's. I am using AdGuard AdBlocker and Privacy Badger, but I turned them off for Walmart.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hi Guys, I have used Firefox browser to open and use Yahoo Finance for many years without any problems. On Wednesday 16th July 2025, suddenly, I could not download any stock charts. At first I thought it was a glitch with yahoo itself. However after a lot of searching and frustrating trial and error I seem to have pinpointed the problem to my Firefox browser. These charts will open as normal in Chrome. I have refreshed, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox without success. Any ideas please?

Hi, I am having trouble with multiple logins being saved on site login pages. Where I have entered the wrong email, I can find these in passwords and delete them, no problem.

The way logins are saved in other cases is inconsistent. For example, some sites are saving the same login with multiple dates - why? These are not available in saved passwords to delete. This doesn't happen on every site and needs to be disabled. Other sites are saving logins for other unrelated pages. I have one page that gives me a dropdown for login to three other sites. These sites are not linked or associated with each other in any way and again, can't be found in password to delete.

The only advice I have found is to use the down arrow to select the login and press delete but this does not work anywhere. I have deleted history, disabled fill usernames and passwords automatically. History, cookies and data is set to clear every time Firefox is closed.

For years, Firefox has been my default browser, but I am at wits end with Firefox not working with SO MANY websites.

Usually, it just hangs up and doesn't connect, or it gets stuck on one page and will not advance to the next. At this point, I'm ready to demote Firefox and my Chrome my default browser. In fact, I'm sending this message from the website opened in Chrome because it would not open in Firefox.

I'm using a Mac mini running MacOS Sequoia 15.5, but this has been happing with all of the last versions of MacOS.

As I said, it's been years, but I no longer have the patience to deal with Firefox. I wish Mozilla could fix it, but it doesn't seem likely after all this time.

I have had this problem on several websites, but most recently Xfinity.com. Pages in their rewards page have buttons to accept a reward. These buttons don't show up in Firefox, but if I use Chrome they appear and work properly.

Just got a mac mini 4. during setup/install, which was done with Time Machine, I changed the name of my home folder and computer to reflect the new mac mini. Now firefox won't load any websites, new or ones I already had open. Where do I go to make changes in firefox to indicate the new names? Thanks in advance for any help. Allan

I can open Firefox but ...

If the site opens it has limited functionality.

For example: Yahoo finance opens. The home page seems mostly functional but when I open mail it opens to priority and thin when I try to access "all" it won't work.

Another example: I can open my Barchart account but when I try ton lode my portfolios they will not. Just get the spinning wheel.

Tried a bank account. Website downloaded but when I put the username and password in it wouldn't load just got the endless spinning wheel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember in the old days there was a way to delete permanently suggested form input without going to settings...Does it still exist...Also what comes up in my form filling is not listed in any of my addresses or personal data.

My email is nickgabriel@usa.net so I use usa.net as my internet email and log in with FIREFOX.

Every 12 hours, my account is logged off, firefox still up and running, and then I log back in immediately.

What can be done so firefox does not log me off but keeps my email logged in and running?

when printing a page from Firefox,, normal default printer settings is "fit to page" which is fine for 99% of time But,, when i switch to scale 100%, this setting is ignored and the page prints still with the "fit to page"

Switching to use "Edge" as browser and doing the exact same print,,,, printout scales to 100% and is perfect

Took me while to isolate this problem and all attempts at firefox settings etc have no effect The issue is re-producible on multiple computers and multiple printers

Please advise otherwise i will have to continue to use MsEdge for this one task Rick L

On a certain site, a new window is opened to read a text file. However in Firefox since the latest update, text is shown with its scroll bar in a narrow 5-line strip in the middle, leaving the rest of the window blank (see image).

The same site is displayed normally in Chrome.

HI, I've been using CLAUDE AI regularly for weeks, and not had a problem. However recently it has stopped displaying HTML outputs in its Artifact window. After much fault finding, we discovered it works fine in Safari, which suggests there's been some recent clash in Firefox. I've double checked the extensions, and numerous other settings, using Claude and Chatgpt to fault find, but cannot fix the issue. Can you help please as I'm not a safari user and much prefer Firefox. Thank you.

Hi folks Since the beginning of Mozilla, in Firefox the item History > Recently Closed Tabs contained the tabs that had belonged to the foreground window: easy to use, straightforward, intuitive. For some reasons now it's all the tabs of all the windows in chronological order. It became practically unusable. Who the heck thought this was a smart move: turning a very practical feature into a useless one? Is there a turn-around? Maybe it's like the Window menu that used to be in chronological order and turned into an alphabetical order: a bureaucratic decision completely unaware of the users preferences. Nick
