Having an issue where if i try to download a file, if the name is the same as another file on device, it just automatically overwrites it without asking to rename or save in another location. This becomes a problem when a lot of people just name their files 1,2,3 etc. And I end up losing something important.

Is there any way to either stop the overwrite happening, or to be asked to name a file when downloading, I notice there are no download/save menus in the settings, and the advice online of going to about:config just takes me to a broken blank page.

Any help?

I am using an updated version of Firefox on Android. (118.1.1) I was trying to use the "add to home screen" function for a website but i can't find it in the menu. Did it disappear? The install function worked in a way to make an icon for a website on the home screen, but it only gives it a generic name.

Good afternoon, the complaint I have is when I make Firefox my default browser it doesn't stay and I've to continually change it back so when I clicking on a link instead of going to Firefox like I want it too it instead goes to my Samsung internet browser. So, I just switched to firefox on android 10 as my default browser and I've got this bug where the suggestions remain opened even after the search is complete and it's showing the results (see screenshot). I can interact with the search but I can't see what I'm pressing for obvious reasons. I have tried clearing the cache and even reinstalling it but with no success.

Firefox focus works without any problem.

I'd love to see Firefox on top of its game again, and I would love to dig 8n! However, I see Firefox retreat more and more ground to Google and other builders, when this very system was ONE 9F THE FIRSTS IN EVERY WAY...DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PROGRAMS, SOFTWARE, TOOLS, ONLINE HELP, ETC...Now you've just given WAY to the guys who dress up as hulk, (Google, who lie their asses off to congress, senate and the country) while you've done everything with integrity you've lead the flight to freedom, and you were attracting top developers?!!! Do you need help in marketing and publicity? I'm degreed and spent years in the field...its easy...make a decision, stop letting Google and iPhone deploy impotent Firefox apps, with your name on them? Then, I'll join your team?

Sir I remember my password, but I deleted Microsoft Authenticator. In this case, how do I get permission to access my account?
