Hello, I had my system reinstalled last week including Windows etc due to serious failure. Al software incl. Thunderbird had to be reinstalled, luckily I have retrieved all addresses, emails etc. however I am struggling to bring back previous view. The current one is a bit messy as presented on picture 1 - firstly I cannot hide the email's content and secondly I do not have the toolbar with "Korepondenci Temat Data" etc - these buttons are not visible (highlighted in yellow on picture 2).

What I would like to reinstate is the layout as on picture 2 - the one currently used by my colleague. I have no idea how to do it. Can you pls help me out with this? I have compared my settings with him and we both have the same version of Thunderbids, ticked off same options etc.

bigger and cuter imojies would be great. email backgrounds would be nice too like Incredimail had. It would make it more fun to use your program and I bet you would get more users.

I have a content filter to filter out inappropriate material. Included in the filter are filters for adult content on wikipedia, youtube,and google podcasts. however, all those sites are fully allowed on Firefox, as opposed to on Safari and google chrome where the filter is working properly

I would like to add specific tags to my emails, e.g. key words/phrases like "DNA Match", "Chichester", etc. I have gigabytes of saved emails with valuable information, but finding things I know I have, is impossible.

How can I do that?

The colour code tags are useless due to limited number, and also because I colour code genealogy/family history emails as green, I have thousands of "green" emails. I need a better system.

If Thunderbird is not the right email client to use, what is?

Are there any plans for Thunderbird to add the feature of auto-filing incoming Promo or Social-related emails to "Promotions" or "Social" tabs? Gmail has this option and is the only reason I've been using Gmail. I would LOVE to go back to Thunderbird, and would if they had this feature.

How do I select a folder to store replies to emails received. Currently they all go to the "Sent" folder...I would like to select the folder where I would like to store the reply... Thank you

I have to save a lot of PDF documentation in Firefox browser. When I use a software and I click a button the print preview window appears, after that I save the documentation in pdf. Is there any way to automated it?

I use these configs (about:config and about:preferences):

Always ask you where to save files -> not checked Content-type PDF -> Save file in the Applications section At now this config is does not work. I want to click the button, and it will download into the correct folder.

Saved themes in Firefox color not visible in add-ons manager. Does not fix itself in safe mode. One of the saved themes is a default preset I liked, the other is a preset I made myself, using all options except advanced colors.

I have Firefox as my default browser instead of Microsoft Edge on my HP laptop. I've tried everything under the sun to make Google my default search engine over Microsoft Bing, and no matter what it won't stop rerouting me to Bing. I can go to www.google.com and type directly in the search bar and it STILL reroutes me to Bing, even when my settings list Google as my default search engine of the search bar. Can I block Bing as a website altogether? HP support only offered to connect me with a specialized team that costs money. Please help.

I would like my response to e mail to start at top of thread not bottom. Help searches tell me to go to Account settings -composition & addressing - "authenticate quote" my version (V 115.7.0) does not have this option.

I have a friend that is blind and can only use Thunderbird with the keyboard shortcuts. I cannot find a shortcut to open an attachment to an email. He has Jaws screen reader but it’s not particularly helpful for attachments. Is there a keyboard shortcut to open attachments to an email?

How can I completely remove the tab bar and regain 3/4 of an inch of screen space. It would be nice if Mozilla would just have a on/off button for it. I've tried creating a folder called Chrome within my Firefox Profile folder. I then created a text file within that folder and named it userChrome.css. I put this string in the text file #tabbrowser-tabs { visibility: collapse !important; } This did not work, does anyone know the best method for getting rid of the annoying tab bar?

Hi Community, Please tell me how to switch on as default the Thunderbird delivery notification option. I have Thunderbird installed on two PCs. One has the option checked to always get a delivery status notification; i.e. always on by default. The other PC doesn't have this option checked for default and I have to remember to 'check' the option box each time I send an email. But I can't find where turn 'set' this option or change it! Help please.... regards, Al
