Hi I keep getting the message "Unable to connect to your IMAP server". I have reduced the number of 'server connections to cache' from the default 5 down to 1. Thanks

I can receive mail fine. Cannot send mail on gmx.co.uk acct, but gmx.net works on oauth2. But oauth2 is missing on gmx.co.uk It's just not on the pulldown. I tried a new thunderbird acct for gmx.co.uk but oauth2 is still missing.

Can get(POP3), but can not send emails to a newly created personal outlook.com account.

all my setting are correct per thunderbird and microsoft:

Based on my understanding its seems thunderbird is using SMTP AUTH instead of OAUTH2 as required for newer personal outlook.com accounts. Is my assessment correct? If so, is there a fix?

What seems like ages ago Firefox stopped displaying bookmarks I addition it would not add new bookmarks nor restore the existing ones. I've gone through all of the corrective procedures listed on and off but nothing works. As a final attempt I deleted the program and reinstalled it. No change. It seems to me that perhaps a missing file from another program or system is missing. Maybe!

I have been using an alternate system for some time. When installed it had no problem finding all of the Firefox bookmarks and placed them on the menu bar as "Firefox Bookmarks". I have no issues with using them but all new ones are stored in the current browser. Thus the new ones do not go into the folders previously set up. I've avoided moving them manually to the new system due to the volume but I am ready to bite the bullet.

I prefer Firefox but it's just not working.

Can anyone save Firefox for me.

I’m experiencing an issue with my website Fixit Home ([[Interior design and fitout company|https://fixithome.ae]]) ). Certain pages and elements, including images, navigation, and layout, are not rendering correctly in Firefox, even though they work fine in other browsers like Chrome and Edge.

I’ve checked:

The website code is valid and loads without errors in other browsers

SSL certificate is active and pages are secure

JavaScript and CSS files are loading correctly

Could this be a Firefox-specific compatibility issue, or something related to caching, security settings, or mixed content? I’d appreciate guidance on how to debug and fix this problem so my site works consistently for Firefox users.

When I use picture-in-picture for any video, all of my firefox browser windows go unresponsive. I can move the cursor around, but it won't allow me to click on anything. The only way to stop it is to open a brand new window which makes it responsive again and then close out of the PIP video. Sometimes it lets me go back to using the browser as normal, and other times it causes all firefox windows to crash. I'm using Windows 10. This issue only began happening about 10-ish days ago.

I've checked and double check as well has changed the outgoing settings from 465 to 587. Nothing works. Help148.0 Sending of the message failed. The email address box does not accept the email address and comes up with an error message. The only way to send an email is to use a different browser ie Google. Emails are still received as normal on Firefox / BT mail

i had multiple tabs set up in multiple groups and i used yo restore these every day when i rebooted every morning and all that is lost to me now. i can see that the groups are there but can no longer use them. how can i uninstall mozilla firefox

Hello, I was using a cleaner program called "Cleaner One Pro" and I mistakenly let it clean my main firefox profile, and then I backed up my system afterward, unknowingly overwriting my recent backup. When I tried running firefox again, it had regressed to an earlier snapshot of my profile and was reloading all my tabs as well. Also, all my previous sessions and my history was all erased. This program should not have erased those, and if it had not, I could have simply let the tabs reload and been fine. So my profile was left in an earlier state with no way to recover current tabs. I have many, many, many open tabs on firefox, which has NEVER been a problem whatsoever. All my tabs were in an earlier version. I, however, found that firefox had made a partial backup of my profile into another folder in the same folder as my profile, but this backup was not complete, and trying to use it as a complete profile resulted in only a few tabs open at all, worse than even before. But this limited backup included my complete, current history. Are there any other file or files in this limited profile backup that I could use to restore my open tabs? I am using the absolute latest and newest version of firefox. My sessions and similar files are missing from both folders. It seems this funny little partial profile backup was made, and I was hoping there was a way to restore my open tabs from this little, smaller, partial firefox backup profile folder. Has anyone ever seen this, and how can I recover?

As of now, I restored an 11-day old profile and was able to import my new history into that using an extension, and if worst came to worst, I could at least recover my history and all the sites in that time of the missing 11 days I had went into, but I was hoping to recover my current tabs from that time as well. In this limited profile backup folder that exists next to the profile folder that was trashed, Is there any other file besides the session files that could have stored my open tabs, that I somehow didn't see or know about, which I could use to get my tabs back? I would willingly let firefox reload my tabs if possible to restore them as they were before this happened.

Doesn't matter if I click File -> Get All New Messages or press Shift + F5 nothing happens and I don't get emails. Have to check each email account one by one. Downgrading all the way to version 78 didn't help. What can be wrong?

Also I've tried installing a special add-on to get all new message: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/get-all-mail-button-for-tb78. But it's not working either. Just nothing happens when I press the button provided by the add-on.
