I'm unsure if this is the right place to be asking this as I'm new to the Mozilla forums, but I've noticed an issue with how text aligns when printing in the latest version of Firefox (148.0), specifically I'm using the 64-bit installation on Windows - I cannot confirm whether or not this issue can be replicated on other environments as I do not use them.

I noticed this issue when trying to print an order summary from Shopify - both in preview, physically printed sheets, and PDFs, the shipping/billing addresses had their lines 'smushed' together, rendering them illegible.

Was there a tweak in the latest update affecting how Firefox handles text, specifically in regards to its alignment, when printing from a webpage?

At first I thought this was a Shopify issue (as is the case more often than not), but after trying this out on different browsers (namely Chrome and Safari - boo), I could not replicate the issue.

I would share screenshots of how the issue presents, however I cannot do this without being in breach of GDPR and I do not want to share customers' sensitive information.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance! :)

I like Firefox with one exception. The right-click print feature is missing in the drop-down menu. I can print from the Application Menu but the 'print' feature is missing using the mouse right-click menu. The right-click feature does work using other browsers. A picture of my right-click menu using Firefox is attached. THANKS

In the past I've been able to print pages generated from websites, such as ... https://www.bridgebum.com/short_suit_game_try.php

I recently used a well know "cleaner" to remove broken links etc ... Since then I've been unable to print these generated pages. I can still print documents that I've created. mail etc so it's not the connection between my PC (Windows 10) and the printer (canon TR7560)

I've tried the troubleshooting ideas in FAQ. I've reinstalled (without uninstalling) Firefox but neither helped.

Cheers from sunny Sydney Australia

Before installing recent update (115.32.0 esr) I had no problems to print to Brother MFC-7360 printer or Save to PDF; now, neither of these selections will perform their function. I have tested the printer and can print a Windows Printer Test Page ; I can also print using Windows Reader. Please advise what I can do to correct this issue with the latest version of FireFox 115.32.0 esr. I even tried the "clear saved print settings" in the "more trouble shooting information" ; "printer"; "troubleshooting"; I don't think that did anything.

Thank you.

My local newspaper has gone only digital, which I actually like. But, there is an option on the bottom of the reader that is available when using Edge and is not available when I use Firefox. A mouseOver on Edge displays "Print or clip". Yes, it's a snipping tool and/or print option. But it really right-sizes the snipped area perfectly for printing crossword puzzles. The Windows snipping tool (Windows 11) makes it too small so I need to go to Edge for only this one task. My first preference would be to get the function on the Firefox screen, and my second choice would be to figure out how to use the Windows snipping tool to print without leaving Firefox. Firefox 147.0.1 (64-bit) The reader if your allowed to open it: https://reader.sl.nj.com/full_page_image/the-star-ledger-2026-01-31-page-42/content.html There are Edge and Firefox screenshots in the attached file. The icon(s) of which I speak is the first of the four on the bottom right of the Edge screenshot ( the first screenshot).

How to include images when printing an article to a PDF file? Every article I can find by searching on Google says I should click on icons or settings that don't seem to exist. How can I set Firefox so that when I print an article to a PDF document, the photos or images are included in the PDF file. It would also be useful to be able to turn this feature on or off, depending on the article. Thank you.

When printing puzzles from USA Today on my Canon Maxify, the crossword puzzle and the sudoku both show up as two pages, when they are only one each. If I don't change the setting from All to Current each time, it will print a blank page with each puzzle. This just started happening within the last month or two, but I have had Firefox/Duck Duck Go for many years. If I switch my browser and search engine to Google, which I hate, it shows and prints each puzzle properly. I don't know if it's the browser or the search engine, but it is a problem that I didn't have until recently. The print box is completely different from Firefox/Duck Duck Go to Google, so if it is Duck Duck Go that sets the printing box, I need to contact them. Firefox version 147.0 on Windows 10 on Lenovo laptop. Thanks in advance to anyone with a solution.

Hi,

While printing documents or web pages from Firefox, I sometimes notice issues with text alignment, margins, or scaling compared to what I see on screen. This makes it hard to tell whether the problem is coming from Firefox print settings or the printer itself.

To troubleshoot, I usually start by printing a basic printer test page from the browser to check text clarity and layout before changing advanced settings. Browser-based tools like MyPrintTest are helpful because they let you test printing directly from Firefox without installing extra software.

Is there any recommended Firefox print setting or workflow to ensure consistent print output across different printers?

Thanks for any guidance.

It would be easier to understand if there was actually a paper size setting, but there isn't. The alternative of changing settings on three different printers to get back to A4 seems ridiculous to me and I don't have 3 printers to circulate among. Why is Mozilla convinced everyone wants Letter size as default? Sorry about the grumps, but there you are.
