Just got a new pc with windows 11, I used the export from my older Thunderbird to create the file and it worked great, but I messed up when I installed Thunderbird on my new pc, I was so impressed (and curious) that Thunderbird could auto set up my email account, so I let it do it and it worked. I have 3 email accounts and when I used the import I thought it would overwrite the one it just created, but it didn't so I'm missing 3-4 folders I had on that one account It imported the other 2 accounts and folders great Is there a way I can get those folders from the old pc and copy over to the new?

I tried to uninstall Thunderbird from the new pc so I could do it right, only use the import function and get everything, but it doesn't uninstall much, everything is still there. Or is there another way? Thanks.

T-Bird account hacked. Changed password. Everything appears normal except ALL new inbound emails automatically end up in Trash folder (as unread). Can open, move them to inbox, etc., no problem. Can this be fixed? Is it a settings issues (which I can seem to find)? Thank you Greg.

The last couple of updates seem to have impacted capabilities on Youtube. Specifically, under notifications, when you click the 3 dot option menu, the menu decouples from the option menu and goes to the top of the screen. Not the worst thing in the world but is incredibly annoying when trying to clear/hide multiple items.

I successfully subscribed to an online .ics file but I found the resulting calendar entries inadequate and I want to unsubscribe but I can't figure out how to do that. I've tried searching for instructions but haven't found any.

I have been using Thunderbird ever since I set up my first email and I like it and am used to it. At some point in time an update was issued and from that point forward I have not been able to send emails or reply to any emails. For what it's worth, I can go through the Comcast website to access my account, but that's a real pain in the butt with a lot of extra steps. It's just so easy to make one mouse click and access it on my desktop. I have contacted Comcast, but they really don't want to deal with me since I no longer have cable service with them (I moved 7 years ago to an area they don't serve). I have a Gmail account and a Charter account and have no trouble with either of those sending or receiving. I really like Thunderbird and would like to figure this issue out and correct it. For several days now, I have been unable to use Bank of America login and passwords. The login appears correctly but the password fails to appear. Also I can not put in my password. What is going on?

Numerous sites, most recently Etsy, will not give me access. The message is always this or some variation: "We detected unusual activity from your device or network. Reasons may include: Rapid taps or clicks. JavaScript disabled or not working. Automated (bot) activity on your network (IP 71.217.57.171) Use of developer or inspection tools."

This happens even if I disable Ublock Origin. The only other extensions I have are 1Password, Zoom and Undo close tab. How do I fix this? The problem does not exist if I use a different browser. It is VERY frustrating!

I (by mistake) tried go attach a file that was too big to send in a Thunderbird (gmail) message. Even though I click "Cancel" to the warning "Warning! You are about to send a message of size 29.6 MB. Are you sure you want to do this?" the warning reappears each time I open Thunderbird (and I have to close and restart it to have it send any e-mails). The offending message is not in the drafts or trash folders. How do I tell Tbird to stop trying to send this message?

Greetings. TB crashes - It originally died after a short period of working. Managed to empty cache which seemed to have solved it, but then it came back with vengence and has given me no chance to explore as it won't load at all. I used to use folders for mail and also regularly compressed, however not the last few years. I also have a few Mozbackup files, but restoring a recent one of these has not helped. I am now finding it frustrating not being able to reach my messages. It is set up mainly as POP, with a number of different email addresses all reached through a common inbox. I have been using TB for decades and this is first issue like this. Glad of any suggestions. David

I'm on a fresh Windows and the CPU usage is waaaaay too big. When TB is out of focus, it uses about 10% of my CPU. This can go up to 15% when the window is active. It's not doing anything, not downloading or compacting or anything.

I am running Thunderbird 137.0.2 on Manjaro Linux (KDE Edition). I access my emails via IMAP.

Fairly recently, I started to experience situations where, after some time of using Thunderbird, all my folders would suddenly show as empty, with the text "No message found". When switching to a different folder, the tab headline on the left will update, but the folder name on the main pane will stay the frozen.

I uploaded a screenshot.

I cannot see the emails in my folders until I close and restart Thunderbird. I can, however, open emails via the search (not quick filter) function.

I have disabled all add-ons, but this does not seem to have helped. I saw this in my logs, and wonder if it is related:

thunderbird[23874]: JavaScript error: resource:///modules/DBViewWrapper.sys.mjs, line 1677: TypeError: this._sort[0] is undefined

Any ideas what I can do?

Hello. I have windows 11 64 bit and thunderbird on my computer. For the last month I have not been able to send pictures pasted in emails. If I attach pictures it works fine. I have tried reinstalling Thunderbird, running the troubleshooter and searching everywhere on google but I can't find anyone with the same error. Do you have any tips on anything?
