I have installed Firefox VPN, but it is disabled by default so I have to enable it whenever I use it . How can I change the default setting to make it on by default

I tried to connect my user on my Online Accounts on Linux Mint, but it said: Authentication Failed, so i tried to open my accounts and send a message to myself. The message is sent and it appears a little window that says: Your Messages was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can try or save the messages locally to Local Folders/Sent-(my e-mail name).

Same happens with Troubleshoot Mode and I don't think it's a connection error, so what is the file access error in here?

Auto updated to firefox 150 yesterday. What's new screen announced the rollout of the free in browser vpn had reached us (in Canada). Clicked the link to set up, went to screen to follow instructions. There's no vpn icon in the firefox menu bar, no matter what I do. (And I have done everything obvious.) Was the VPN not in the actual update I received or is this some bug/glitch? Thanks.

I have been trying to turn on the VPN and get through the steps except for the last one where it say go to the open panel to turn it on. What is the open panel? and where do I find it?

Firefox advertizes a FIFA world cup widget in Firefox for Android. However, I am unable to find it anywhere. I have looked through all the settings, but there is nothing. When I search for "world cup" in the settings, there is a search result and I'm being redirected to the "Homepage" settings. But there is nothing. I'm quite annoyed that Firefox advertizes this feature in the Google play store, but it's nowhere to be found. Using version 152.0.1. Attaching to images. One where you can see that I get a search result, and a second picture from all the settings for the Homepage.

P.S.: this is the second time I have written this question. I was not able to find it after posting and assumed something went wrong. Sorry if it worked after all and there is some duplication.

I am disappointed that I am not able to access my Mobile phone account, which is with O2, using Firefox but I can do so using Google Chrome, so I would like to know why I cannot access the account through Firefox.

I can only select the bottom sliver of my bookmark links in the toolbar, not the main body of it. What might be causing this?

last night when i closed the system down, i had 5 spacial tabs with names, and apx 50 other tabs open, come to start the system this morning.. all gone.. nothing.. just a new firefox.. all my history.. gone... this is not good, as the 5 spacial tabs that i had where from seriten sits that need to be their,and now.. just gone.. the lot... and all the setting are correct..

We have noticed that none of our tabs are saved in Firefox anymore, and the settings require a specific number of saved tabs, which can vary from one session to the next.

Please allow users to select which tabs to save. For instance, a check box ☑ system would be very helpful.

I am unable to dismiss the Amazon Search icon from my Firefox Homepage. I can dismiss others, but whenever I click on Dismiss for the Amazon Search it just always remains. I want it gone.

hello good day i know this is asked many times but i've tried a lot of solutions that i can find online but none works so here i am... https://share.firefox.dev/4uKI7Xf im running firefox in a windows 10 virtual machine, 3d accelerated, some websites (even google sheets) that make my firefox use a lot of cpu check/uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available", uninstall, troubleshoot mode... is no different any help is appreciated, thanks

Somtimes consistently letters duplicate when i type some sequence of letter on the address bae only. It works normaly anywhere else in firefox except that and my whole device.

For the last two days, every time I start Thunderbird, a pop-up requests me to log in into Google Calendar. I have followed what little advice I can find:

• Unsubscribed/deleted all calendars
• Deleted all Gmail Accounts
• Deleted all saved passwords, and re-entered them only for my current email accounts.

How do I get rid of this irritating and unnecessary pop-up? I have updated to v128.14 but the problem persists.

I have a problem with Thunderbird which might be a bit niche but here goes...

The first attempt at sending an email fails as TLS Record Layer v1 is used, the mail server sees this and hard resets the connection so sending halts. See attached Wireshark trace screenshot "Failed".

If I retry the send again Thunderbird uses TLS Record Layer v1.3 and the email goes out ok. See attached Wireshark trace screenshot "Success".

If I send another message immediately no problem but if I wait 20-30 minutes the above cycle happens again.

I have set the minimum TLS version in the config to 1.3 (option 4) and restarted Thunderbird but this has not changed anything.

Any ideas how I can fix this? It's a pain because automated replies don't work.

I've looked in settings and there is no preferences link. I cannot locate any sort of tool to import all my passwords and settings from the Chrome browser. I've even looked in bookmarks which has no bookmarks yet
