External request to provide email content and send automatically, such as HTTP GET or POST similar to restAPI to do stuff on thunderbirds application for automated tasks, like opening emails, send email.

Almost consistently every day and often multiple times a day, Firefox will freeze up, unable to load new tabs, and sometimes will display a message that the browser has updated and requires a restart. Upon restart (when fozen), I'm prompted to create a new profile because I'm using an 'older version of Firefox'. After creating a new profile, I'm able to update the browser and switch back to my original profile.

Although this is a relatively easy fix, Firefox requiring me to restart my browser without being able to do anything else is disruptive alone, but not even completing the auto updates, crashing, and requiring me to do a workaround just to keep using the browser is driving me back to a more stable browser.

I don't remember updates requiring a restart before, or maybe they didn't happen enough to cause issues in my workflow.

I have tried using the 'restore' feature in the uninstaller hoping that it might resolve the issue with no results, but I haven't found any reasonable other options with my searches online.

This current version of Firefox (126.0) is preventing Yahoo! Comments from showing/displaying in ANY Yahoo! article. After I finished reading a Yahoo! article, the Yahoo! Comments is viewed but upon clicking on Comments, it just disappeared. It happens in any Yahoo! article with Comments. I used Safari to see if I experience similar issue but Safari is able to show/display Yahoo! Comments upon clicking on them. I have no other browser plug-in or app in Firefox preventing Yahoo! Comments from showing, it seems to be a Firefox JavaScript issue.

I am migrating from Thunderbird to Office 365. I have moved the email by putting the Gmail details into Office 365. However could you please advise how I can migrate Tasks , Calender and Contacts from Thunderbird to Office 365 without having to pay for an Mbox to pst conversion tool.

I added my own shortcuts and deleted all the preset ones (Wikipedia, Twitter, Amazon etc). On deleting the last one of the default ones, the 'Add a shortcut' button has completely disappeared. Is there another way to create a shortcut?

I have Thunderbird installed on my laptop running Fedora 40 with Gnome on Wayland. I have two monitors with different resolutions.

The laptop monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080 whereas the external monitor has a resolution of 1360x768.

Thunderbird display fine on the main monitor, but when I move it to the external display, everything becomes huge and unusable.

I don't want to scale things in such a way that I have the opposite problem, that is things are way too small on the laptop monitor. Is there a way to have Thunderbird scale properly on the external monitor to have it maintain the right proportions on both monitors?

Thunderbird 115 included in 24.04 LTS installation.

My profiles are located on the SD card working well on other two laptops running ubuntu 22.04. Swap SD cards between two laptops is my way of working with Thunderbird since 13.04.

After installation 24.04 LTS (and Thunderbird 115 included). Following the instruction for adding old profile to the new Thunderbird. Help->thunderbird information->about:profiles. Creating new profile. 1) Using the function CHOOSE FOLDER indicated the path to the profile /media/VB/AB49-E208/Thunderbird profile 2) The path to the folder shown by Thunderbird is different (and strange): /run/user/1000/doc/58235/Thunderbird

When looking into the directory tree the folder is empty (obviously). Thunderbird therefore cannot reach the profile located on SD card and doesn't work.

QUESTION: Is there any way to overwrite the profile folder path in Thunderbird 115 ?

I open facebook in 2 seperate containers so that I can maintain 2 seperate personalities under facebook - e.g. I am a group admin within one, just a group member in another.

I have 2 urls defined in my "homepage and new windows" setting for these :

This was working fine without any issues. My sites opened up when I started my web browser and everything.

Recently, firefox has started up but my container tabs do not load automatically, I am getting a confirmation (I will post a screen capture as a comment).

Is there a way to turn this off and just open the tabs without a confirmation?

I sort my emails in date order, newest at the top. Recently, new emails have started to arrive at the bottom of the list, until I exit the folder and return, or re-sort the Inbox. This seems to be a new bug. Why is it happening?

I've noticed that my Firefox browser is taking longer than usual to load web pages, switch between tabs, and respond to user input. This slowdown is affecting my browsing experience and productivity. I've tried restarting the browser and my computer, clearing the cache and cookies, and disabling unnecessary extensions, but the performance issues persist. I'm not sure what else I can do to improve the speed and responsiveness of Firefox.

I can't scroll to The bottom of browser's menu lately, meaning i can't get to setups. I could not long ago while still having the bug, as a bit of the setup button was "reachable", but it is nów replaced by that "turn into pdf" feature. The bug itself is also rather new, although i can't tell precisely when i first noticed IT to occur, as it is on my heavy duty work phone and i use browser irregularly on it.

So, i don't see "refresh" button (or can't Reach IT, don't remember wether it was at the bottom od somewhere else), setup button and anything bellow the print button. Well, bellow that "save as pdf" button precisely, although i can't really swe said button.

I use the firefox browser on two computers and the sync of the bookmarks is enabled. On one of this computers dont work the sync of the bookmarks. I get no errormessage if I press "now sync", but I dont get the bookmarks. Could you help?

Chrome and Edge render the page just fine

I'm running Windows 10, Firefox Release 126. I had the same issue with the previous version of Firefox. I was hoping 126, would fix the Chase Bank issue.. But it did not I read several articles from FF users, I checked my User Agent Settings, they are correct. Called Chase, they said use Chrome as Firefox does not have the 'needed code' to work with Firefox. Been using Firefox with Chase for at least 5 years.

Thunderbird keeps suggesting to use the Filelink feature for sending large files. And I am quite on board with that idea. However, the only way I can officially share large files with the industry partner is a Kiteworks platform, that is configured to only allow SFTP and the webclient.

When clicking on "Find more providers", the only provider that isn't specific to a business like Dropbox is Webdav.

Is there any way to use an SFTP server for Filelink?
