trying to add multiple email accounts, keep getting error message "unable to connect" when using auto config or manual

also sometimes get error message "incoming server already exists"

can see my other emails when connecting online with provider

please help!

I've been reading how to move my emails to a new computer. There are two users on the old computer, both with Thunderbird. When moving the email profile to the new computer, does it pick up both users, or does this need to be done separately for each individual Thunderbird email account? If so, I assume I need to set up both users on the new computer before starting the Thunderbird move. Also, how can I be absolutely sure I'm dealing with a recent enough email version on the old computer? My Thunderbird updates frequently but the new one seems to be slightly off.

For years now I receive SPAM / phishing from "Standard Bank". Some days as many and 5 different emails in my inbox. Every time the same "From:" "Standard Bank" but from a different email address. Today this one "Standard Bank <support@novonet.mk>".

Others like this this month: Standard Bank <admin@oco.cat>, Standard Bank <almir.colonhezi@acaoenge.com.br>; Standard Bank <anket@star-arastirma.com>; Standard Bank <info@matesonadate.com>; Standard Bank <info@mellys-nagelmanufaktur.de>; Standard Bank <mail@woodflooringstirling.co.uk>

My question, how can I stop this, please help.

I have no idea what has changed and I do not have the experience to attempt to figure it out. I have had Dashlane for years and it works like a charm. Now, it will not auto fill certain sites and with other there is some sort of conflict which causes the sites to sit and spin but it will not auto-fill like usual.

All I have done is clear the cashe several times and then it started. Its a brand new machine so not sure how that plays into it but it was all of a sudden out of no where.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I imported Bookmarks when I came to Firefox from a previous browser. The experience was terrible and challenges still linger. Firefox has come a long way, however UX still seems to be a 2nd class citizen. Bookmarks now has somewhat duplicate directories and this in turn is causing desktop/phone sync doubt and is likely missing bookmarks.

When sync breaks, it is so confusing. How can I simply have a working Bookmarks sync on desktop/phone?

Perhaps there was a challenge when I need Bookmarks to appear in the top bar when a new Tab is opened, as this was contrary to default Firefox settings.

I am having trouble setting up an email signature with HTML in Thunderbird mobile. I only have the option of a text signature. Is this the only option, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, I am having an issue in mobile on iPhone 13 mini where I am trying to view a PDF (a bill so I can’t share the link) and it just opens to a about:blank page that says:

“Your bill is almost ready. Please wait.

Are you using a Chrome browser? Check your browser’s Downloads folder for a PDF of your bill.”

I wait and nothing happens. When I try in chrome it opens immediately in another tab (and doesn’t go to the downloads folder funny enough).

It isn’t in my downloads folder here either.

I don’t think it’s the site since it works in chrome.

I tried turning off pop up blocker, clicking the link again, and it didn’t change anything.

I also notice it is labeling the blank page as an insecure connection. It is from my city electric company so that wouldn’t be likely.

Hi! I'm experiencing a strange issue with Firefox.

Every time I start Firefox, the site addons.mozilla.org opens automatically — and it opens in fullscreen mode (as if I pressed F11). Here's what I've tried so far:

I disabled all extensions, but the problem still persists.

I changed the homepage settings to a blank page and even other websites, but it doesn't help — addons.mozilla.org still opens.

The issue happens even after restarting the computer.

I haven't reinstalled Firefox yet — I’d like to understand what might be causing this first.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Firefox freezes when I try to sign into YouTube via Google. Becomes totally unresponsive and I have to close browser. It's the only site this happens on. I have cleared the cache and cookies, unchecked "Hardware Acceleration" and other recommendations from other posts. Please talk to me like I'm your Baby Boomer dad.

local folders after a certain amount of folders have disappeared. I have made a new folder today, it displayed, closed thunderbird, re-opened thinderbird, and folder disappeared, the .msl file and file are still in the profile/mail/localfolders directory, just not being display under local folders in program, deleted all .msl files, and restarted thunderbird, and it did not recreate the .msl file(s) as well

Hi folks, as title states - If I delete an IMAP defined account, will it's associated local folder also be deleted?

Currently I'm getting mixed answers on this when searching more broadly online.

Please let me know how to get my favorite sites back on my home screen. I use them a lot as they are real time savers. When I signed on this morning, it asked if I wanted Firefox to access my computer. I've always said yes and the updates have never caused a problem - until today.

I would appreciate an email ([edited email from community support forum]) letting me know how to get this to work.

I deleted all the shortcuts from Firefox desktop browser's homepage and now I cannot add them back.

There are no blank shortcut icons on the page anymore. No setting to enable them. Shortcuts are enabled. Page is mostly blank, only has Firefox icon.

I tried to close and open Firefox as well as disabling and enabling the shortcut setting. Adding more rows did not do anything.

Before this issue occurred, I had one shortcut on the page that was linking to localhost. I opened the edit window to the shortcut and pasted the same address and saved changes. After that I removed the shortcut. All of the blank tiles immediately got removed from page and I had no way of adding more shortcuts.
