Thunderbird lädt keine neuen Mails mehr vom pop3 Postfach herunter, aber ständig alte. Beim versuch das Konto neu einzurichten kann Thunderbird keine Einstellungen finden, obwohl die Einstellungen stimmen. Auf dem Handy (Android) werden die Mails einwandfrei heruntergeladen.

I often hit ^T (control-T) in firefox without meaning to, because I use that chord in other applications a lot. In firefox it opens a new tab, which is almost never what I want. I'd like to suppress that keyboard shortcut. I tried doing it using vimium (unmap <c-t>) but that has no effect.

Hi, Thunderbird updated this morning, and now I cannot access my email. I've rebooted, confirmed my server settings, and it has not fixed it.

I get a pop up message from Thunderbird stating the the connection to server pop.earthlink.net was reset. I have to reboot my PC to be able to download emails. Is there a setting I need to change? Thanks.

The error appears invariant of my IP address (different IPv4 addresses after rebooting my router, or an IPv6 address via a proxy). I have Firefox 60.7.2esr and 78.5.0esr on an older machine. Those sometimes work to some of these sites, but don't support all the site functionality, e.g. I can't actually login to Costco. www.tesla.com/modely works in 78.5.0esr. The Firefox on my Android tablet works for tesla; I haven't checked all the other sites. In conversation with my ISP (Starlink) customer service AI, I have tried deleting cookies and disabling plugins (only H264 and Widevine) with no effect. It suggests there is a problem with Akamai fingerprinting the browser.

Hello everyone, I manage 2 email adresses on thunderbird from a specific domain xx@xxxx.com. When i send an email from these adresses, even I have tried different settings to record, it fails. So, my last setting is the original one suggested by the app... but nothing => see image Any idea ? or do you know another way ?

had the need to start a fresh thunderbird profile.

now I forget which setting(s) allow for thunderbird to scan the local folders, NOT the internet, for new mail.

any suggestions?

FROM POP TO IMAP CHANGED AFTER I CANNOT RECEIVE MASSAGES. The sent mail folders in the webmail and Thunderbird are synchronized. Account password is correct. My iphone is received mail messages.

I have Firefox set to always ask about how I want to open/save PDF files. Within the past couple weeks, I've encountered an issue with opening PDF files. When I click on a PDF and select "open with Firefox," the PDF opens in a new tab on Firefox, but it also opens in Acrobat. When I select this option, I just want the PDF to open in my browser, and I cannot find a way to stop it from simultaneously opening in Acrobat.

Hello, I can't find a way to connect my contact database to Thunderbird for Android. How can I set this up so that email addresses can be easily added or imported automatically in the entry fields of a new email? Thanks in advance! Regards

For 3 days, I haven't been able to access my GMX email account. It tells me every time "Login to the server imap.gmx.com with username '[edited from public] @gmx.com' failed. I hadn't changed anything beforehand and all the entered data is correct. My other accounts like gmail, yahoo, works just fine. Tried installing older versions and still no success. Outlook app works fine either. I'm pretty sure that GMX mail server made some changes that Thunderbird is missing. Please verify.
